The Trump campaign on Sunday said former President Donald Trump is “safe following gunshots in his vicinity.”

“President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement that did not provide additional details.

The former president was playing golf at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. The course was immediately locked down, according to a source familiar.

The Secret Service said on X that it is working with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a protective incident involving Trump. The Secret Service said the incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m.

Trump taken to safety after Secret Service opens fire on man with possible gun at his Palm Beach golf club​


Donald Trump was taken to safety by the Secret Service after agents opened fire on a man who was spotted with what may have been a gun while the former president was on the links, according to law enforcement sources.

Sources said the Secret Service spotted a suspicious individual on the Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach, and opened fire when agents saw what appeared to be the barrel of a gun.

It’s not clear whether the man was on the course or near it.

An agent opened fire, shooting multiple times.

“President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time,” Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said Sunday afternoon.

The man was later arrested by local police on I-95.

It comes almost exactly two months after Thomas Matthew Crooks shot Trump at a rally in Butler, Pa. on July 13 — wounding him in the ear.

Sen. Lindsey Graham took to X minutes after news of the shooting broke to laud the former president for his fortitude.

“Just spoke with President Trump. He is one of the strongest people I’ve ever known. He’s in good spirits and he is more resolved than ever to save our country.”

The West Palm Beach course is about five miles inland from Mar-a-Lago, which Trump dubbed the “Winter White House.”

The Secret Service — which came under widespread criticism following the July assassination attempt — wrote on X that it was investigating a “protective incident” involving the former president that occurred shortly before 2 p.m.

The agency said it’s coordinating with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office on the investigation.

Initial reports suggested two people were firing at each other. However, sources said investigators now believe the Secret Service agent was the only shooter.

The man’s motives are not yet known. He was arrested by Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies.

The White House issued a statement soon after the incident: “The President and Vice President have been briefed about the security incident at the Trump International Golf Course, where former President Trump was golfing. They are relieved to know that he is safe. They will be kept regularly updated by their team.”

This is a developing story.

1. Assassinating inconvenient people is something governments do.

2. Glow agencies grooming unstable individuals to unwittingly do what they want them to do has been documented before.

3. Trump loves posturing and photo-ops, but it is unlikely he stages assassination attempts on himself. If you pay attention to how he increases his profile, you'd quickly realize he knows where the line of diminishing returns is.

4. If you stage an assassination attempt, the other guy has to be in on it. We saw how close the bullet came last time. However if the guy is in on it, he needs to either disappear or kill himself before being apprehended.

4a. Trump is not stupid enough to consider influencing someone to take a shot at him, which could actually kill him.

4b. Trump is not stupid enough to consider staging an assassination attempt, which could potentially be tracked back to him, especially since that is what lefties want to believe. If he stages an assassination attempt it will be instantly exposed, since every single person in politics is observing him and his every action 24/7.

The reason you don't see the difference between these two scenarios is because you are a retard nigger monkey.

Counterpoint: They don't have to be in on shit if the information given to the shooter isn't detailed or viable enough to create a plan for. ie. "Trump is at X-place at Y-time. Make your move here" as opposed to "Trump will be playing golf exactly at Time'o'clock on A-wing of Building-b, there will be 10 people in attendance etc." the information given wouldn't even have to be notable, the idea is you cast enough obvious bait for someone stupid enough to take it and act on it.
