Praise be unto the all-Merciful, all-Compassionate Lord of Mankind and the Heavens, whose perfection be extolled and whose names be exalted, that Trump survived a second attempt on his life. I pray that Senator Blumenthal et al reveal the travesties committed (or aided and abetted) by the Secret Service sooner rather than later.

Ryan Routh

Appears to be a mercenary who left for Ukraine in 2022. He was told he was too old to fight, so he began helping to assemble ragtag groups of soldiers. He's associated with the "International Legion for the Defense of Ukraine". He's been interviewed quite a bit by high-profile websites, and even has Russian combat wiki articles that mention him.

Here he is mentioned about being too old to fight, and creating a flag memorial for fallen Ukrainian soldiers. - Article (A)

“It’s a pretty big yard, but the front bank is completely full,” Ryan Routh, an American volunteer who started the memorial last year, said. “There may be 10,000 at this point. ‘Flags of the fallen’ is what I’ve been calling it.”
Routh, a former construction worker who lives in Hawaii, is one of the thousands of foreigners who, after seeing news reports about the invasion, travelled into Ukraine in early 2022 to volunteer as fighters or medics.
Aged 56, he was told he was too old to fight and instead set up a tent on the Maidan to help co-ordinate foreign volunteers, then the flag memorial too.
As of February 13, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights said it had verified 7,199 civilian deaths and more than 11,000 injured during the invasion, but the UNHCR also notes that the real numbers could be higher.
Routh says he is still active in helping to recruit foreign volunteers so this war “doesn’t drag on for years”.

Ryan is criticized here for trying to get soldiers from Afghan soldiers who fled the taliban - Article (A)
The New York Times article backs up the Russian Defense Ministry’s information regarding the countries which are actively trying to recruit mercenaries to join the fight in Ukraine. It wrote about Ryan Routh, a former construction worker from North Carolina who spent several months in Ukraine last year and is now seeking recruits among Afghan soldiers who fled the Taliban. He plans to move them to Ukraine from Pakistan and Iran – in some cases, illegally. Nevertheless, dozens of people have apparently expressed an interest.

‘We can probably purchase some passports through Pakistan since it’s such a corrupt country,’ Routh said in an interview from Washington. It is unknown whether Routh’s plan worked out. But one former Afghan soldier said that he had been contacted and was interested in fighting if it would allow him to leave Iran, where he has been living illegally.

This article paints Ryan to be a "go-to" contact for the Legion, selecting recruits that will perform well. - Article (A)

International Legion American: 'To win this war, we need soldiers'

Ryan Routh, a 56-year-old American who is involved in recruiting soldiers for the International Legion in Ukraine, told the Polish Press Agency that "many people come to Ukraine wanting to help Ukrainians, but they don't have a specific plan of action." "My job is to select those who are capable of fighting," he emphasized.

Ryan arrived in Ukraine after the Russian invasion. He wanted to fight, but he didn't have the right military experience. Although he didn't end up on the front, he helps in another way: he recruits candidates for the unit.

“Humanitarian aid is of course very important, but to win the war we need soldiers”

– he added.

He revealed that he had recently recruited a Brazilian, a British and an Australian to the International Legion. "They are now waiting for training," he said.

The American also created a place of remembrance for members of the legion who died in battle in Kiev, on Independence Square in the center of the Ukrainian capital.

"We officially lost over 300 soldiers. I started sticking small flags in the ground to pay tribute to them. I labeled them with their name, surname and date of death. Right next to them I created the same place for Ukrainian soldiers. Kyiv people come here to honor their heroes"

- he explained.

Ryan also prepared a book of remembrance where passersby can write a few words about their loved ones, friends and acquaintances who lost their lives in combat.

In turn, at the Monument to the Founders of Kiev he attached flags of various countries.

Asked how long he plans to stay in Ukraine, Ryan replied as long as necessary. “I’ll stay here until the end of the war, or until Putin loses, ” he said with conviction.

The International Legion is a unit created in late February by the Ukrainian authorities for foreigners who want to support the fight against Russian troops. As Damien Magrou, spokesman for the International Legion for the Defense of Ukraine, reported a few days ago, citizens of 55 countries are fighting in the formation. He added that the largest group are representatives of the USA and Great Britain, followed by Poland, Canada, the Baltic states and northern Europe, including Finland.

He is listed on this Mercenaries list - Article (A)

The Legion

The International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine was founded by Zelensky to recruit foreigners.

They have a website (A) where you can sign up to go to the frontlines for $4800 a month.

Facebook (A)

Here is a Russian combat wiki about them - Article (A)
Legion - (Latin legio, genitive legionis, from lego - I collect, I recruit) the main organizational unit in the army of Ancient Rome. Initially, the legion was the name of the entire Roman army, which was a slave militia numbering about 3 thousand [2] .

Creation of the Legion

The International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine was founded on February 27, 2022, by decree of Zelensky. This land unit, part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was created by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to attract foreigners to participate in hostilities against civilians in Donbas and the Russian army. Already in early March 2022, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told foreign media that the Legion numbered 20,000 people representing 52 countries. Recall that Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin announced the start of the Special Military Operation on February 24 [3] . It is not known how the declared number of mercenaries had already been mobilized around the world by March 6 (the date of publication of Kuleba's statements). But most importantly, Kuleba commented that at that time it was not known how many recruits would actually come to Ukraine [4] . But since then, words about an unheard-of number of mercenaries, not without the help of hypertrophied Western propaganda, have become firmly entrenched in the information field.

The Ukrainian government uses its own official representations in other countries as recruitment points for "soldiers of fortune": embassies and consulates of Ukraine, the representation of the Ukrainian mission to NATO in Brussels. In total, there are about 88 points in 62 countries of the world.
Simple requirements are imposed on candidates for service in the Legion:

  • Have any experience of participating in military operations.
  • Know how to hold a weapon in your hands.
  • Feel confident in war conditions and high-stress situations.
  • Have the strength and will to protect peace throughout the world.
  • Be ready to join the Legion right now.

The non-trivial criteria for selecting Legion participants are largely determined by the contingent that has joined this military formation. In the personal biographies of combatants and investigative articles on our website, you can meet Instagrammers, gamers, retired homeless military personnel, and LGBT+ activists.

Composition of the Legion

The International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine includes: Kastus Kalinovsky Regiment [5] , Georgian National Legion , Freedom of Russia Legion , Black Maple Company (former Canadian-Ukrainian Battalion), Normandy Brigade , Separate Special Purpose Battalion of the Ministry of Defense of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (OBON MO CRI) - such a republic does not exist.
Briefly about the contingent of the represented paramilitary formations:

  • The Regiment (former Battalion) named after Kastus Kalinouski is described in detail by our authors. In the first days of the Special Military Operation, 200-300 fighters, natives of Belarus, were declared [6] . On May 21, 2022, the Battalion renamed itself the Regiment, soon followed by a statement by Svetlana Tikhanovskaya [7] that by the beginning of June the Regiment numbered about 1,500 people. Like everything in the fictional world of rabid Western and opposition propaganda, these figures are greatly exaggerated. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the number of Belarusian mercenaries (in one or another life status) is, as of July 12, about 208 people.
  • Georgian National Legion - information on the number of members changes rapidly from day to day. According to our calculations, the number varies from 2000 to 3000 people.
  • The Freedom of Russia Legion deserves special attention - better known as the virtual legion, since from the moment of its creation, which its participants announced on March 11, 2022, the legion, represented by 10-15 of the same people, appeared in the information field only with press conferences about the overthrow of power in Russia and its bright future, which this unit will ensure. As a result, according to A. Arestovich, we are talking about a maximum of 250 people wishing to join the legion.
  • The Canadian-Ukrainian Battalion is made up of members of the Ukrainian and near-Ukrainian diaspora in Canada. There are about 550 fighters. The fighters later became known as Black Maple Company, effectively breaking away from the Normandy Brigade. The number is about 20 people.
  • The Normandy Brigade , made up of people from the United States and Canada. They are better known for selling merchandise. In May 2022, the brigade commander, a man with the call sign Khrulf , told Radio Canada [8] that the brigade had been living in hell on earth for two months. "When the Russians show up, they bombard us with everything they have. It's amazing that I haven't lost a single man yet," Khrulf said, adding that many casualties were recorded among the recruits. The commander also reported that despite the support of Western countries, there was a shortage of equipment for the volunteer fighters. "The Ukrainian army has priority, and we take what's left," he explained. Khrulf complained that the brigade was ultimately forced to provide for itself by selling souvenirs, but there was not enough money to buy equipment.
  • A separate special purpose battalion of the Ministry of Defense of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria was created on July 31, 2022 by Akhmed Zakayev, the creator of terrorist gangs in Chechnya, who has lived in London since 2002. The battalion consists of natives of Chechnya living in Europe, Ukraine, and terrorists from Islamic countries. The formation took part in the battles in Donbass and near Kherson.

BREAKING: Son of alleged would-be Trump assassin tells the DailyMail his father 'hates Trump like every reasonable person does.' Adding, "He's my dad and all he's had is couple traffic tickets, as far as I know. That's crazy. I know my dad and love my dad, but that's nothing like him." "He said he was at the beach, but I thought that meant the outer banks in Hawaii. I didn't ask him for more information because we've had a falling out. We've grown apart." "He's not a violent person. He's a hard worker and a great dad. He's a great dude, a nice guy and has worked his whole fucking life." "'I hate this game every four years, and think that we all do, and if my father wants to be a martyr to how broken and disassociated the process has become from the real problems and practical solutions, then that's his choice."

The son of Ryan Wesley Routh, the man named as the suspect in a possible assassination attempt near Donald Trump's Florida golf club on Sunday, has said his father is not a violent person and did not even believe him to own a gun.

Wesley's son, Oran Routh, reached by DailyMail.com shortly after Sunday's shooting, said this was the first he'd heard of the alleged assassination attempt.

'This was the first I heard about it,' the 35-year-old exclusively told DailyMail.com. 'Was my father shot or injured?'

He said his father hates Trump as 'every reasonable person does.

‘I don't like Trump either,’ the son added.

But he said his dad is not a violent person and couldn't believe his father would target the president.

'He's my dad and all he's had is couple traffic tickets, as far as I know,' the son said. 'That's crazy. I know my dad and love my dad, but that's nothing like him.'

The former president was rushed to safety on Sunday after multiple shots were fired in his vicinity while he was playing golf at his club in West Palm Beach.

Routh said his father, who had no military experience, said he had traveled to Ukraine following Russia’s 2022 invasion to help volunteer and provide aid to those affected.

Routh moved to Hawaii a few years back and was living with his longtime girlfriend. He said he didn't know his father was even in Florida.

'He said he was at the beach, but I thought that meant the outer banks in Hawaii,' he said. 'I didn't ask him for more information because we've had a falling out. We've grown apart.'

He wouldn't explain the nature of their 'falling out,' but still spoke highly of his father.

'He's not a violent person,' he said. 'He's a hard worker and a great dad. He's a great dude, a nice guy and has worked his whole f**king life.'

Asked whether his father owned a gun, he replied, 'Not that I know of.

'I've never known him to own a gun or known him to do anything bats*** like this,' the son added.

He said his father works as a general contractor, building small homes in Hawaii, and previously owned a roofing company.

He abruptly ended the call, saying he needed to inquire about what actually happened.

Later in a rambling text, Routh appeared to justify his father's actions.

'I hate this game every four years, and think that we all do, and if my father wants to be a martyr to how broken and disassociated the process has become from the real problems and practical solutions, then that's his choice.

'I'm not saying that's what he's done or what he's about, that's just my own rant being fed up with it all for my entire adult life,' he wrote.

'South Park said it best, every 4 years we're forced to choose between a turd sandwich and a giant douche, and it all stays f****d in the same ways by different degrees, and we're exhausted and embarrassed by it all.'

The suspect ran from the trees, but was spotted by a witness who snapped a picture of his vehicle – a black Nissan – which included the license plate before he drove away.

Trump confirmed in a statement about an hour after the shots were reported that he is 'safe and well' and didn't want rumors to 'start spiraling out of control.'

The suspect was able to get within 400-500 yards of Trump.

The 2024 Republican nominee's bulked up Secret Service advance team spotted the shooter in the tree line just two holes from where Trump was golfing.

Special Agent Rafael Barros explained at the press conference on Sunday that Secret Service moves along with Trump and usually surveying one or two holes ahead of him when he goes for a round of golf.

The FBI released a statement two hours after the incident claiming the attack 'appears to be an attempted assassination of former President Trump.'

After many years working for my family business, I have resumed my original career objective of obtaining full-time employment in a position that utilizes my skills, education, certifications, and work experience within the field of Computer Management and Information Technology.

His daughters FB has been taken down at this point - but seems she lost her longterm partner a few years ago, they both seemed like bohemian types. He played music and seems he OD'd on drugs or suicided. Kinda sad, doesn't seem like she has much to do with her dad.

The son's FB stopped being updated in 2015 (at least with Public posts) - mostly middle school kid on the internet posts.

I guess the shooter split away from the family when his mental health started going south, moved to Hawaii and then was addicted to current thing issues. Starting with solving homeless issues in Hawaii with box sheds, then fixing Worst Korea, Joining the Ukraine civillian army and then deciding he needed to shoot Trump to save the world.
She lives in hawaii with him. cant source because the accounts are nuked but her facebook said she lived there and worked at the campsite place with him, which I confirmed it with her instagram account. Didn't archive because I didnt find anything interesting or relevant, that was the only connection to her dad I could find.
