If it was truely desperate, Trump would have gotten shot by a real sniper who is two miles away who would have made sure the job gets done. It really feels like the SS and FBI are just leaving the door open for schizos they groomed on Discord to take a crack at him so the feds can have plausible denial of their involvement. Late October/early November I think they will bring on a professional to do the job.

There are so many perfectly good words (i.e. toxic, literally, privilege, etc.) that had their connotations destroyed through overuse or misuse. It's not a new problem, but yes, picking and choosing when words have certain meanings mean, well, they have no meaning at all. Communication is a two-way street. "Language evolves" but when you twist language for your own benefit, you break it. People will either use words however they want, or just stop listening to you. I personally make a point to use certain words in their "true" (Another one! "Your truth!") contexts. People here have already said language influences thought, so don't let these people control you by deciding what words mean, by setting frames of arguments.

The best way I've found to describe this to people and have them "get it" is to remind them that a "phobia" is usually defined as an irrational fear, so if you've EVER seriously used the word "homophobic"... surprise! You've been psyopped into announcing to everyone that your (justified) disdain for faggots is irrational. Don't let these people worm their ideas into your brain or their words into your mouth. Learn to use language properly!
