I’m just throwing out ideas now because why not: could it be possible that alter is some kind of uk legal term and she thought it was his last name? She doesn’t seem too bright just based on the way she types on Facebook. The wrong last name could be why no one can find the article that all of them claimed came out around the time of the court case?
Yep or its the nickname SSB9 was given my locals considering none of them actually knew his full name. Can we expect someone to remember something that happened in her teens, quite rattled after having him ask her questions about God knows what, to recall every detail correctly two decades after the fact?
People probably only knew his first name because he worked as a wagie at ASDA. I mean c'mon, 'Walter Alter'. That sounds like something kids at the playground make up to call the man in the woods, doesn't it? Black Shuck, Jenny Greenteeth, Spring-heeled Jack. Monsters in Britain have funny names.
I've another thing I want to pass on to youse. Perhaps David was able to move so freely early in his life because of the church. The main thing in favour of David being in the Grace Communion International are his FB posts. There was an attempt at a timeline that says he ALLEGEDLY joined the GCI in 1984 (roughly the time he leaves secondary school) and it lead me down a
rabbit hole ant colony.
The 'person with delusions of grandeur' story I keep and I keep referencing. If we are to take the name Darren as a possible lead, we might as well take another example used by Stephanie Stansfield to talk about something without actually naming it: the congregation at Peterborough.
Peterborough, Cambridgeshire has a GCI hall in Farcet, apparently affiliated with the Evangelical Alliance. You don't need to be from England or particularly acquainted with its geography to realize this guy has been all over the place. Farcet Village Hall is over an hour and a half from the address the weens listed in Google Maps and a bit over an hour from Milton Keynes.
Before I keep going, Peterborough was listed as an example in the 'person with delusions of grandeur' story to avoid naming the real place he is talking about. I'm talking about this to explain something else so DO NOT take this paragraph literally.
So I'm going to present you the alternative hypothesis on David's church goings. I'm going to be making a weird case about churches but I promise I'll make sense of it.
First off, I'll be making the case for the Church of God which is pretty strong once you notice the source.

Before I go into some mild religious sperging you may think that some third party referring to David as Alter means it could be his real name but I think the fact it includes 'also known' just implies is the name he is known by and likely not the only one. Might as well be a nice way to protect him from further humiliation or prevent him from enjoying his humiliation fetish.
This message appears in the letters from our readers segment of The Journal for the final monthly issue of 1999. The letter is submitted from Warrington, which could stand for a hamlet in Milton Keynes or a town smacked between Liverpool and Manchester with both cities having their respective assembly halls, it almost feels deliberate. One new suspected alias of David posting in the Ethelred Estate FB group even is named Chesire Richmond, one letter away from the county where Warrington is located. To add another layer to the tinfoil hat for extra resistance we have that at least one schizo I met says David talks scouse or at least has a North West flavour to how he butchers the language.
The Church of God is aligned with Holiness-Pentecostal and part of the Evangelical Alliance.
These two churches aren't the same. They have similarities and co-exist in unions aiming to learn from one another but you don't jump from one denomination to another without reason. Is probably not a stretch if this guy really married in 1985, he no longer is in that marriage, so perhaps one of the reasons he was shunned out of his congregation and snapped was a divorce. All the shit involving his sister is in the '80s, his mum passes away in '92 and he starts his schtick. Probably by '99, he had lost most of his support network and sanity. His coping mechanism becomes mild religious spergery.
No one can find the guy because those that knew him want nothing to do with him, much less now.
