Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

If he's not lying and actually owns six, I want to say a .22 rifle/handgun, 12 gauge, and a proper rifle, like even the lowliest of faux-conservative Fudds have. But this is Fats and I know it is more likely they are a Lovecraftian retardation beyond comprehension if they're real.
I'm going with lying because guns are just part of his manly-man cosplay. Much like his V6 Mustang, motorcycle, and gym selfies. He wouldn't be able to help it but post about them, I'm surprised he hasn't tried a Torque Wheeler thing with guns.

As both a penis haver and enjoyer, Rick has nothing in common with anyone heterosexual, more like.

When was the last time this fat fuck has created or enjoyed anything science fiction?
And who's going to tell him that if he ever gets another shitty SciFi novel into print, the cover art will very likely be AI generated since nobody will bother spending money on an actual artist to shit out some F tier slop to go on his covers anymore? I mean, his previous novels already had those shitty cover artworks that were probably made by some underpaid artist by the dozen. He should consider himself lucky that maybe, *if* he ever gets another novel into print, the cover art will be actually fitting the content since it doesn't cost shit to write a prompt compared to asking an artist to actually spit out something specific.

I don’t know what would be more embarrassing for Rick if he took his swing at Attempt number three. That he would be the third guy in a row to miss or his fellow Blueanon kin painting him as a right wing REPUBLIKKKAN Chud.

He's a "sci fi enthusiastic" who automatically rejects the premise of AI enhancing creative output, cryptocurrency replacing fiat currency, the internet archive serving as an online library, electric vehicles for being a waste of resources, reusable rockets having a learning curve to their production/testing (probably his worst offense to be honest), etc. He doesn't even consider their possibility, or produces works illustrating why they're flawed ideas, he flatly rejects then.
His sci-fi consists of drawing a 2d diagram of a generation ship on a cocktail napkin and then setting a "noir murder mystery" on it or some shit.
He is a Luddite imbecile.

Someone could post the "ships taking off" scene from any sci-fi that isn't star wars or marvel shit, and say it was AI, and Rick would hate it forever. He's so obviously reactionary it's hilarious.
Seems to be a common sentiment among the not-very-successful "creative" class these days. There are a LOT of people who eke out a living by shitting out mediocre art on commission, and they see that AI already produces the same quality for free. So they want AI to go away instead of distinguishing their own work from AI slop.
The same people who gloated over the obsolete white males from the rustbelt are now getting hit by the same obsolence.
Maybe learn to code.

Yeah, that's another thing. A good SciFi author would turn all this stuff into a good story.
But then again, Fattypat isn't a good SciFi author, innit.

In a no-win scenario, I would just win, child. I'm sorry you're too stupid to understand. Watch more Marvel slop so you, too, can begin to master my reality-rejection techniques.

Really highlights his childlike mindset. In all his favorite media, the good guys always win, so he can't even conceptualize anything else anymore. It just can't happen. He did not pay Quasi, etc.

The Five seveN's a nice looking gun at least. Shame it's totally impractical and the only people who buy it are marks like Fat Rick.
It's very practical and has been field tested and certified to be effective against one Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka. Like Rick he found a weird trick to get out of child support payments They Don't Want You To Know.
Not saying that Patty will never blow his top and go on a rampage.
A constant threat. He should buy tops that fit him to put everybody at ease.

I hope the cops bring up Rick's history of death threats and other threats of violence in his lawsuit. They have good cause to take reports of insane behavior by Rick seriously, considering he can't seem to stop advocating assassinations and murders and rapes.

Of course it would have to get past qualified immunity first, which doesn't seem terribly likely.

On top of that, a denial of q.i. is immediately open to appeal before the case can go forward, and even it's somehow denied at the trial court level, an immediate appeal has a decent chance of success
Let's be real it won't be brought up but it'd be hilarious if his death threats were included in the cops evidence against him. It would certainly paint him as unstable.

Sci fi to Pat is just a backdrop. Not a way to tell a story. Not a way to express creativity. It's just wallpaper. It's that way because Patrick doesn't understand technology. He thinks paint balloons can disable a T-72 for the love of Pete. He watched Star Trek and thought "I want that!"

Which is sad because sci-fi can just be a backdrop to a well-told story. Arguably Star Wars is just a standard adventure tale "in space" - the actual sci-fi parts of it aren't very instrumental to the telling of the story.

I'm sure Rick thinks he's a hard sci-fi author like the Martian (in which the entire plot and all obstacles are sciencey) but he barely even begins to reach the level of soft sci-fi.

Even the Lord of the Rings is a soft fantasy novel, as the "magic and shit, yo" parts are either incredibly understated or not directly important to the story.

Soft Sci fi like star wars is perfectly fine as long as the story and characters are good and you don't get overly technical with the setting and create plot holes. Pat does the opposite of all these things. And he thinks it's good because of his pride. Literally the worst traits of a Author in one man.

Exactly. He thinks that by being a "hard scifi" author his other failings will be excused (and damn if some famous hard scifi novels are otherwise complete shit) - but his hard scifi sucks as hard as his characters and plot.

Of course, the best hard scifi is also good story itself; just intertwined with science fiction themes and ideas so complexly that you can't separate them.

He wants the prestige hard sci-fi brings without the work and research it takes. His ambitions are too big for him. It's why his books are a mess. He needs to stay in his lane.

Of course he unironically believes in the "I reject the premise" meme
