This is accurate.

An immense amount of political capital was spent since 2016. With a lot more in 2020 to get everyone to go along with the election farce. This has put "democracy" as a legitimizing principle in serious jeopardy. Our clown leaders don't know what else to do so they will of course push it even more.

Will anyone do anything though? I agree that America is extremely divided at this point but at the same time its hard to know if the right will do anything if another rigged election happens. Even setting aside the idea of igniting something, there's a part of me that wonders if the right is afraid that they wont have a lot of support and lose.

Eventually yes it is inevitable. Time and time again this has shown to be true. You can only undermine the will of your own political system for so long until too many actors in the system realize it and just flip the board over.

This will accelerate further in the next decade as all of our boomer leaders are ancient geezers who refuse to let go of power for any reason. Many staying in office until they actually die. Which was not the norm generations ago. They comprise the uniparty today and you see the younger members of Congress, such as Massie openly defying their bullshit.

Flat out, the only question is how hard can the left/democrats push it. Right now I'm seeing Hamill saying little. The mainstays are getting pulled back.

I just don't think the MAGA thing is going to fold easily. There's some Lech Walesa stuff going on.

I really dunno why people think America is exempt from the historically catalogued political horrors and conflicts that have rocked countries it's meddled with via the CIA and military operations. I was thinking about this last night. For all intents and purposes, nothing should be off the table by virtue of "this shit and worse shit has happened before in America and elsewhere, why wouldn't it happen now?"

I hate people that say 9/11 was a conspiracy. I fight JFK ones that said it was more than one shooter.

We love to think that we are enlightened in Current Year, but the truth is that the last century or so of peace and plenty is an unprecedented historical anomaly.

The line between civilization and barbarism is much thinner than most people want to think about, much less admit.

Which is why you should savor and cherish the time we still have left. As insane as Clown World is, we are living in the "good old days", compared to what is potentially to come.

I don't know what will happen or how it'll play out. All I know is that hard times lie ahead.

I actually do think that they will try to stage some sort of Kamala Harris “attempt.” It will be something extremely weak Jussie smollett plot like some obvious glowie asset was found with a gun in his backpack loitering at one of her rallies with no real attempt at causing any harm. It’s probably their only way to try and mitigate the damage to her campaign.

If they are incompetent as their campaign suggests, however, they might actually end up killing her.
