Warms my heart to see autists coming together to help another out, make an appropriate choice, and save some money.

As many have already recommended, Glock is a sturdy, reliable choice with plenty of sizing/caliber options. My rec in your case would be a Beretta 92 (92X, if you want to be able to put a light on it). The HK VP9 has a great trigger, and you can change the grip panels to your liking. Since it sounds like you’re not in a state that has magazine capacity restrictions, both of those are fine choices and worth the extra bulkiness. Both have rails and are RMR-capable, if you want to eventually go down that path.

We can make all the recommendations in the world, but ultimately, the only person who can make this decision is you. You’re going to have to decide what best fits your needs, hand, carry style, budget, etc. If possible, see if you can go to the range with a professional and try out some options yourself before you buy. Get some professional guidance, do your research, and have fun!

The 48 is a very comfortable option, too (if you can get past the 10-rd capacity…but there are some aftermarket mags with higher cap).

And agreed. Find yourself something decent from Alien Gear or Safariland. And don’t even think about touching We The People Holsters…pure garbage.

Personal preference is SureFire and Streamlight. Just don’t go with Nightstick, as those are chinesium junk.

I wouldn't say George Wallace was a  fringe candidate. Far from it. Although being a lifelong Democrat, he is the last person to win any electoral votes as a third-party candidate (in 1968 as the nominee of the American Independent Party). Not even Ross Perot and his Reform Party could accomplish that feat, despite being on the presidential debate stage with Bush 41 and Bill Clinton.

No, all the stuff they're currently saying about him is the same stuff they've been saying since 2015 which is why it's so maddening. They already said Trump was gonna destroy democracy and throw out the constitution and raise Auschwitz back into commission before he got into office in 2016. It didn't happen in his first term like they said, but it will 100% happen this term, trust the Democracy chuds! The only difference now is that assassinating Trump is on the table and as the media says "Ackshully it's a GOOD thing Trump got shot at because he's raysist, Trump will continue to be shot at and he's gonna have to deal with it and stop whining!"
