On the sub thing...
In order to let women be on the subs, they had to TOTALLY REDESIGN IT!
They had to add additional plumbing (and you just KNOW some dimwitted snail trail is going to try to flush her tampon or pad), redesign the sleeping areas, make sure that the women have their privacy and safety.
They had to redesign the whole sub to make sure the shorter and weaker women could REACH things and them they could use them.
This cost the taxpayers probably billions of fucking dollars.
Just so women can go "YOU GO BOSS BABE!" and be in a tube full of men underwater for months at a time.
I'm sorry, but I will NEVER agree that women should be in SF or Combat Arms.

So long as you keep the jaw closed, there's actually very little danger. Plus, that looks like a baby. Walking your alligator with proper safety precautions? Yeah, sure. Normal day in Florida honestly, if tales are to be believed.

In frontline combat roles? No. However, there are countless examples of highly successful and incredibly competent women in guerrilla operations (e.g. Virginia Hall), technical positions (e.g. Grace Hopper), intelligence roles (e.g. Constance Babington-Smith and, the grandmama of them all, Eloise Page who was a fucking founder of the CIA), and diplomatic positions pertaining to defense (e.g. Mary Becka, who does not have a Wikipedia page).
There are some really good women out there who can do hard work. The problem is when they're diversity hires, rather than hired and promoted for merit.

Hatians with pet alligators is hardly some horrifyingly offensive shock. White people keep alligators as pets, too (and then of course the retarded ones who didn't know what they were getting into abandon said gators when they cease to be cute little baby lizards). No, what I find surprising is that the Haitians aren't trying to eat the gators. I've never had it, but I have been told by more than one person who grew up in Louisiana or Florida that gator can be good eatin'.
What I find even more horrifying about all this, is that years from now, it will come out that the female sailors were forced to accept troons in their quarters, and top navy brass worked to bury the rapes that resulted.

The news media has been acting every bit as weird about this debate as they did after the Biden one.
The tone has been this very odd mix of uncertainty, cope, denial, and arrogance. With the Biden debate, the initial narrative was that Joe "just had a bad night and Trump lied." With this debate, the media reaction has been "We ... Won? Yay? That doesn't guarantee an election win for Kamala though, and Trump was given more time to talk."
Kamala's recent interview with ABC was a train wreck too, and it's been immediately memoryholed.
Plus, the polls have been SO jacked and inconsistent. CNN, of all outlets, keeps insisting that Kamala's numbers spell danger for her ... Whereas the ABC numbers from today say that Kamala's numbers went up a point.
EDIT: And, most importantly, all media outlets don't want to mention the big orange elephant in the room ... That Trump's numbers throughout this election cycle have been the best he's ever had.

He said combat arms/SF, he's not referring to women like Admiral Hopper.
And yes, redesigning a sub for the reasons stated is insane, as if there are hundreds of women screaming for the right to be assigned to a sub for months at a time when female sailors get pregnant just to avoid a nine month deployment on a carrier.
