Why it is hard to think beyond God?

Do you mean thinking about God all the time or thinking of a being somehow greater and above God in some way? If you mean the former some people are really faithful and if you mean the latter it can become an infinitely scaling matter of this deity is above this deity in the hierarchy and so on so forth. For Christian theology specifically God is not dependent on any other entity and is everlasting.

"why is it so hard to count beyond infinity"

Better thread title.

Anyway, it's hard to think beyond these things because they are beyond our comprehension. You'll know what's really up when you die. No need to worry about it now.

No, but he's beyond our comprehension. Stop thinking about it. In reality, a god wouldn't be loving, nor would it be hostile or hateful. All of these concepts are rooted in human emotions, which the god would have created, (or facilitated, by creating life and designing it to evolve self-sufficiently). The point is that this god is all powerful, existing beyond physical limits. It created every idea you might consider intrinsic, the idea that something even has to make sense or be consistent or follow any sort of rules to begin with is one such invention. Suffering, adoration, pride, hatred, despair, no matter how intense, are all worldly concepts that only apply in the context of the rest of the creation. You couldn't make a successful religion out of this however, the average person can't think this deeply or critically into it.

God would be transcendent, and thus completely unthinkable. Any experience or interaction of or with God would be a projection unto our limited plane of experience. Thinking beyond the unthinkable? It's a nonsensical premise.
