Where I live, there's a word that older foids use that literally translates as "masculinizing" and it's used in the context of a man not treating an adult woman with kid gloves. I've never heard it used to describe a domestic violence situation. All my life, I've heard it exclusively used in the context of being (often rightfully) harshly criticized or told off.

An actual situation I've heard:

It struck me this morning that the "patriarchy" is their version of the demiurge, and that feminism is just gnosticism for women.

They see "men" collectively as a malevolent blind-idiot god with a mysterious and absolute power over matter that they don't understand, and by overthrowing him—probably through some kind of soft power, if they've even thought it out that far—they'll have absolute freedom.

The problem is that, because they don't understand force, they don't understand the limitations of our power over the world. They don't understand the immutable parameters that we have to operate within. I have to imagine that this is a bigger problem in cities where they aren't forced to deal with nature directly like rural women sometimes are, but I honestly don't know.

She probably doesn't put out that much unless its after a nice dinner, so you're paying that just to have her in the room most of the time. Materialism is empowering? I honestly would rather quit than do any sort of HR wagie dances. My company just does some dumb slideshows you can skip past real quick once a year thankfully. We're too busy for any of that struggle session crap.
