Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Does anyone else think it's incredible hilarious to see social justice warriors suddenly concerned about states rights and civil liberties now that Trump is president? They sure didn't give a fuck about eight years of Obama pretty much ruling through executive orders.

Obama was their manservant, so of course not. The double standard of many on the political left is why I dislike them. When they see rights and things working for someone not them its a very bad thing, when the shoe is suddenly on the other foot and a wider body of the non-metro elite are the ones not dominating the political sphere (as the pendulum will always swing) all of a sudden those powers are back in vogue.

I love the "Unfit for Office" and "Doesn't meet qualifications" arguments they're trying to put to the EC.

The ONLY requirements for the POTUS are being above a minimum age and being a natural born US Citizen. That's it.

BOTH candidates met BOTH, the ONLY requirements. Everything else was popularity, and your person somehow came off as less electable than a blowhard reality TV star with an Oompa-Loompa complexion. DEAL WITH IT.

>hillary wanting to go war with Russia

Uh...http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/21/us/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-putin-russia.html?_r=0
In a reversal of political roles, Mrs. Clinton, the Democratic candidate, is the one portraying Mr. Putin as America’s newest archenemy,

Like I'm no fan of Putin either, but I'd rather have someone who wants a good relationship with Russia as opposed to exchanging nukes.

IIRC people said the same thing about Obama in 2008 due to his youth and comparative inexperience. They can't keep their story straight.

Trump's (insanely moderate) healthcare reform proposals seem to be about increasing patient choice (something even the NHS has become obsessed about) and stopping any one insurance company running a monopoly, which is what they do right now. Which is screwing over the poor bastards.

Also these folks seem to not understand that it's about changing how a rural community works so the jobs pay decently, and increase economic activity for everyone, not just the latte chuggers. Heck, even if its something as simple as making transport cheaper so people can travel to the damn jobs works.

HOW DARE THE RUSSIANS WANT A PRESIDENT THEY CAN TALK TO! HOW DARE THEY NOT STAND THERE FOR ME TO SHOOT THEM LIKE IN COD: BLACK OPS! HOW DARE THEY NOT BACK A CANDIDATE THAT WANTS TO NUKE THEM!

In fairness, this is the same country which, with a straight face, did the Donbass briefing about how it was really the Ukranians who shot down MA-17 in spite of all the video evidence that was posted to social media of the contrary.

I somehow doubt they're quite so adept at this as someone with a conscience in the DNC is at leaking the right emails and passwords to interested parties.

Ya know, fairly certain we're not in Hitler's Later Reich where every decision has to be gone through him, any intelligence agency worth their salt would just act first then tell the president later. A single intelligence briefing a week is about what the UK PM gets when they're in office and we have two of the best intelligence agencies on the planet. They only get the impromptu ones when there's shit that needs briefing.

I have a feeling the President-Elect doesn't need the endless briefings, seeing as he can't actually do anything.

Otherwise you wind up with an urgent situation where it's 12 hours before the tanks roll out because the God-Emperor is still asleep.

The barely-veiled desire these folks have to see large portions of the country die off, slowly and painfully, by their own admission, is all you need to know about how far their feelings really go. SJWism just provided them with a (they thought) guilt-free way to rationalize it (they deserve it for being racist)

I have to say, even as a almost-right fencesitter and a hater of both candidates, I think a lot of the reactions from democrats are completely unwarrented.

All this, however, comes down to one point: people need to grow a thicker skin.

I wouldn't bet on it personaly. If we did go 2016 election 2.0 all those millenials who didn't vote the first time will probably vote this time. We'll at least the ones that are registered. So I feel it would probably go to Clinton.

And then we'd have a civil war.

Their candidate lost and they are acting like a two year old throwing a tantrum. Admittedly, it's more salt for us to mine, but it's still retarded of them in the grand scheme of things.

Like I'm no fan of Putin either, but I'd rather have someone who wants a good relationship with Russia as opposed to exchanging nukes.

Agreed.

It also doesn't give any reason for the Russian citizenry to change their outlook on the US, if the US won't stop acting like we're still in the Cold War. It's really starting to come across like these hawks want a nuclear war with Russia. Which would murder millions upon millions of civilians on all sides. Do they not realize that the US is not invincible?

It is worth noting that one way to stop Russia is to actually normalize relations with Russia. At least according to this article.

Before I was banned from ETS one of their cronies told me that "we'd all be better off if you just removed yourself from the gene-pool" and "yes, I do hate you." This was after I told them that I voted for Hillary, which they dismissed out of hand even though there are plenty of posts in my reddit history bearing this out.

The thing that really got my goat this election cycle was definitely the group mentality/tribalism issues. Hating politicians and leadership is ubiquitous in modern time and always was, but wanting all the X people to die is so stupid it's not even morally outrageous, it's just dumb things that one day people will regret saying.

Now that it's over, I almost don't even care that "my team" won, I just want the fighting to stop and for people to move on with their lives, because most people's lives are so much more fulfilling if they aren't based on an election every 4 years.
