Because General Fatton would start another invasion while still embroiled in the Gaza mess and without a clear theory of victory. He certainly would not use this tactic simply to decapitate an Iranian proxy, remove a threat to Israeli civilians to the north and ease the pressure on the overstretched IDF while it concentrates on Hamas.

Yes, in this very thread. Generally it appears that some of his writing is bad, but it’s mostly “just bad” and is basic bitch slop. At least one review mentions that his second novel in one of the trilogies was much better, almost like he had an editor or rewriter.

Yes. I’ve read three and the thorough review of a fourth. They’re not great, but I’ve read worse. He has moments of dumb that stand out but they’re otherwise serviceable sci-fi.

The main problem is he likes to virtue signal in the books and it jumps out as you while reading. Knowing the backstory of Patrick makes everything more annoying because you can’t help but be reminded of his smug face as he tries to show you another progressive moment in his story.

The real frustration is that he set up an okay world in In The Black and then never followed up. So you’re wondering were he’d take the story but until some publisher wants to lose money on him again we aren’t likely to ever have more of that story.

I was never in the military, but if I was I don't think I could even stand to read his tweets. Seeing this dumb piece of shit act like a warfare expert because he read some novels and watched a bunch of movies would be too infuriating.

I bet when he was a teenager he jerked off over Tom Clancy books, but won't admit it now because of Clancy's politics. Although I guess he did tacitly admit it by calling one of his books Hunt For Red October.....In Space!!!!111!!!1
