Turns out being married isn’t any easier when it’s just to oneself.

Influencer, model, and Mariah Carey impersonator Suellen Carey, who made headlines last year when she tied the knot in a bizarre ceremony to herself in London, has ended her nearly one-year marriage, according to a report.

Reflecting on her decision to call it quits, Carey expressed the difficulties she faced committing to herself, the Mirror reported.

“It’s crucial to know when to end a cycle,” Carey reportedly said. “Even commitment to oneself can have its challenges, such as dealing with the expectation of being perfect for yourself all the time.”

She added that she “realized I was putting a lot of pressure on myself and that sometimes left me exhausted. I understood that even in a marriage with ourselves, it’s important to accept our imperfections.”

The 36-year-old, who was born in Brazil but currently lives in London, said she even went to couple’s therapy to try and work though her solo marriage, known as sologamy.

But after 10 sessions of therapy, she decided it was time for a divorce, admitting that she at times felt lonely in her relationship, according to The Mirror.

“I realized that my sologamous marriage was a process of healing and self-discovery,” she continued. “But I also understood that personal growth can lead us in different directions.”

In an Instagram story post, the influencer shared a Pubity post about her divorce, and captioned it, “I need a new husband,” as well as an emoji of a laughing face with tears and a heart.

Carey, who has some 433,000 followers on Instagram, announced her nuptials on Sept. 21, 2023, posting a photo of herself in a white wedding dress, saying it was “one of the happiest days” of her life.

“Today I value and love myself, I married myself here in London,” Carey said. “This celebration is important because I learned to prioritize my well-being and mental health. In my vows, I wrote and declared my commitment to caring for and valuing my self-love”

Carey has also worked as an in-demand Mariah Carey impersonator, getting her break back in 2019 after she was invited to perform at a lookalike party.

By 2022, she said she was raking in nearly $18,00 during the Christmas season.

Carey, who has the same last name as the “Fantasy” singer, was first told she resembled the pop icon when she began her gender transition over a decade ago at 23 years old.

“People have always said that I look like Mariah but I never imagined that I could make a career from that resemblance,” Carey said at the time. the “It’s been over 12 years since I started my transition. A lot of people said that I looked like Mariah Carey.”

If that thing is making money as a Mariah Carey impersonator then I have deep concerns about the UK.

Are you pommy cunts aiight?
Seems like you're in desperate need of better optometrists.

If I were richer, I'd pay this thing to perform during an Eid celebration.

He doesn't look a thing like Mariah Carey. I hate these troon skinwalkers. You aren't a woman and will never be a woman.

How can you be a Mariah Carey impersonator if you don't have a whistle register?

It's really creepy how every famous woman has these skinwalkers of the opposite sex doing drag show versions of all their songs or famous scenes. There's a lot less of it with sexes reversed, lil manlette drag kings tend to do acts that are based on flamboyantly gay men and there's not as many of them. They aren't getting plastic surgery to look like every A-list action star.

A man born in Brazil with the last name "Carey" who just happens to resemble the (beloved to gays) pop icon whose last name he shares?

Or terrifying psychopathic fag who changed his name and altered his appearance to skinwalk as his idol?

Which seems more likely?
