Crystal Pepsi vs. Coca Cola Beverly

I was gonna say I wasn't alive for New Coke, but apparently that shit but apparently it lasted until 2002 under the name Coke II? It must've been in very limited markets after the 80's because I never saw any of it.

It seems Crystal Pepsi wasn't in USA, sounds good though.

OP i think you're comparing apples to oranges. A kid's drink next to an adult's drink.

I've never had the Beverly stuff. After googling it, it sounds reasonable, but definitely not in for a six-packs' worth.

The OG Crystal Pepsi literally just tasted like regular Pepsi. Same flavor, same smell, same mouthfeel. People have been disagreeing with me on this since that fateful year of 1993, and all of these people have been wrong. They insist that there was something just a little different about it - missing the entire point of the gimmick. "Dude, check out this Pepsi, you can see through it!" "Whoa, dude, it looks like Sprite but it tastes like Pepsi!"

Huh, guess I missed it. The only old soda I remember coming back was Surge, that stuff is pretty good as far as citrus soda goes.

Surge was good too.

Really, if you prefer Pepsi over Coke or don't mind Pepsi with a citrus taste, it's good shit.

Sometimes you'll see a soda fountain with flavors they don't sell bottled (at least that I've noticed), so I've tried Orange Coke or Pepsi once (forget which), it was a little odd but not bad.

I miss Brainwash. It had a good taste, the pepper wasn't a macho thing but just a little bite, and it might have been psychosomatic but their herb combo did seem to pep me up in a nice way. Maybe it was just a good soda.

I don't care one way or another if my poop changes color but I can see how that was a selling point too.
