This is what did it for meFinal Destination 5 is what put me off LAISK, and even before then I was apprehensive. That movie was just the final stamp of no thanks. I may not be able to see well at all without glasses, but I'll live with that over potential permanent damage, vision is one of the main senses I don't want to lose completely.
Get fucked, orthorexics. There's no Konami Code for life and if you refuse to just do what makes you happy in life, you deserve to be miserable.update
sorry no refunds incels, its lolsuit time babeee
frank tufano is writting his own lolsuit against his eye plastic surgeon because no lawyer will take him. Also he is hiring people in la to pass flyers against the doctor infront of his office

It's very dependant on the surgery your having and the person doing it. We've all seen the horror shows but there are a lot of people with face/browlifts, boob jobs, body contouring, lifts, excess skin removals, and hair transplants out there that are very happy with their work and the bad part is that they're not going to tell anyone. I wish that people were open about their work, openness would take the shame away from it and especially when something goes wrong. That openness would not only be a big help in finding reputable surgeons and shaming bad or predatory ones, it would also mean that there's help and support if there are complications. That's how it is with plastic surgery in general. A lot of these procedures are a godsend for people with really severe deformities, like the eye socket thing, but just aren't worth it for the little things. All surgery has its risks, especially ones that you go under for. On top of the risks any operation has, there's the very real possibility that it just won't turn out how you want it to.
Gender reassignment surgeries fulfill a lot of these criteria.I wish that people were open about their work, openness would take the shame away from it and especially when something goes wrong. Ah, yes. The modern day lobotomy. A surgical treatment for a mental disorder.Gender reassignment surgeries fulfill a lot of these criteria.
And yet.
What part of don't fuck with functional structures was a struggle for you? GRS is a mutilation procedure sold as a functional one, not an aesthetic one sold an aestheic one. As stated by @My cravat doesn't flutter its used as a "treatment" to a psychological disorder as well as increasingly as fetish fuel.Gender reassignment surgeries fulfill a lot of these criteria.

You'd be surprised how many people can put money together if they have a goal.I don't think people should be open about the work they've done. I don't think any positive spin on cosmetic surgery is good. Most of the people who get "good work" only needed minor tweaks, already have good genetics so that they don't look uncanny valley, and have the money to pay for the best surgeons, and had the ability to know when to stop with getting tweaks despite also being the sort of person who obsesses over their looks to such a degree. But most people who would be interested in procedures don't have the money to get the good surgeons and when something is advertised as positive and saying things like how you feel more confident or people like the way you look now it incentivizes people who don't have the same means or access to "the good ones" to find ways to get the same work done because they want the same "benefits". It's all bad.
Exactly. Those who would benefit the most from plastic surgery are so ugly that the amount of work they'd need to look decent would put them in uncanny valley.I don't think people should be open about the work they've done. Well, that's us told.here being open and honest is seen as a good thing,
I'm fascinated by people who have elective cosmetic surgery, have terrible outcomes, and then go around playing the victim and blaming the doctors. You didn't need surgery. Surgery is a dangerous procedure and no cosmetic outcome is worth the risk, it's fucking ridiculous. Lasik complication stories in particular blow my mind. The best outcome is that you get rid of glasses and contacts, but the published complication rates are a bunch of lies of course because it's business. Fucking insane. Imagine using finite medical resources to be pretty. Disgusting
I watched Final Destination 5 about 2 days before scheduled LASIK. I caught highway scene on TV and decided to watch a marathon, completely forgot about eye part in 5th. Found my first gray hairs after operation, lol. In same batch of patients was guy about 19-20, had just myopia about -1.0 dioptres. I kept thinking what a dumbass making operation so young and with not so terrible eyesight, given you can do it once, maybe twice in a lifetimeFinal Destination 5 is what put me off LAISK, and even before then I was apprehensive. jesus christ, it just looks so bad. What did the...[googling] muscle group known as the obliques do to these people?? It's like the buccal fat thing but for your sides, it's just so ugly.Saw this on r/mildlypenis.

Apparently hip fillers are a thing. It's intended to smooth out the curve of that area of the body. Of course, there are people who massively overdo it, like the guy in that picture.jesus christ, it just looks so bad. What did the...[googling] muscle group known as the obliques do to these people?? I was assuming it was a BBL, where they take the fat from your waist and cram it in your butt. also jesus fuck, I didn't realize that was a man in that picture until you said something! I thought it was an ugly woman with short hair.Apparently hip fillers are a thing. It's intended to smooth out the curve of that area of the body. It just keeps getting worseAnyone remember Mateo Blanco?
I have an astigmatism so I see light bursts and halos. It makes driving at night extremely difficult. Imagine doing that on purpose to get rid of glasses. Maybe if my eyesight was really bad, like legally blind 20/200, I'd consider lasik. Is that a PL?streaked light rays forming around light sources.
