The Dems really really want to bring Musk to heel. Twitter is an incredible powerful tool for shaping public opinion and keeping "disinformation" at a minimum.

Sooner or later the Fed Machine will come after Mush and he will have to fight or bend then knee and even the richest man in the world can't beat the US Federal Government when it's stacked against him.

People in the seats behind Trump being targeted makes sense when you take into account that they are invited to sit there. They are usually campaign staff, volunteers, family of down ticket candidates etc so it may be that there were some big names in that crowd, names that can affect (even marginally) enthusiasm to participate in future election events. Nothing like the fear of getting your face melted off to make you reconsider putting that same face out into public scrutiny again.

Hopefully this is nothing because if it IS something it can have serious repercussions for morale of the rank and file - the true backbone of the Trump campaign.

Now I am not saying this IS what happened, BUT it's worth keeping in the back of your mind: both women and Hispanics are more prone to mass hysteria illnesses. (ie everyone "smells something strange" and collapses.)

So add that to your index of suspicion. Hate to say it, but worth considering.

Maybe a controversial opinion, but if some of these people do earnestly believe Trump is a mega fascist who will destroy democracy and build camps who oppose him, then I have more respect for those among them who wish Trump had been assassinated than those who don't. The former, as crazy as they are, at least they're consistent with their beliefs. The people who fall into the latter category, they're pretty much admitting that they don't truly believe Trump is the harbinger death and totalitarianism. Cuz otherwise, why would they be against the idea of him getting slotted?

I knew a brainwashed dumb bitch who hated Chik Fil A because they were Literally™️ killing gay people. Funneling funds to find ways to kill the gays! Not hyperbole, she actually genuinely believed that every dollar spent there was in some way at risk of directly harming people she cared about. And you know what? She still bought food from there. So, you're right. Even if somebody is brainwashed into believing a falsehood, so long as they act consistently, well, you can be both principled and wrong. Worthy of respect. Alaska man charged with threatening to kill six Supreme Court justices

An Alaska man has been arrested after allegedly threatening to torture and assassinate six Supreme Court justices and their relatives, the Justice Department announced Thursday.

Panos Anastasiou, 76, allegedly sent more than 465 messages through the Supreme Court’s public website — many of them violent, racist and homophobic, according to an indictment filed Wednesday.

He faces 22 federal charges: nine counts of making threats against a federal judge and 13 counts of making threats in interstate commerce.

The indictment did not name which of the nine Supreme Court justices were threatened. The court has a 6-3 split between conservatives and liberals.

In the case announced Thursday, the Justice Department said Anastasiou began sending threatening messages in the spring of 2023 and continued sending them through at least July 2024. In recent months, the suspect seemed particularly angry about the Supreme Court’s decision to expand presidential immunity, ruling that presidents cannot be criminally prosecuted for acts that are considered official parts of their duties.
