APC has either a space 12.7mm, 14.5mm, or a 50mm grenade launcher in a remote turret. Has the possibility of being fitted with light anti tank missiles. Carries 10 passengers, same with the dragoon. Armor is the same. Range for both is 600 miles.

It's Wheeled, so relatively fast but tires can pop. Also keeps the double V hull of the Stryker, so fuck mines. Rollover is a issue.

Overall this is as much a question of is the Stryker good as is a space Stryker good enough to work for aliens and not immediately die. I've always liked the Stryker and found it a cool little workhorse, a evolution of the LAV III that has actual armor. Discuss.

If you're open to suggestions, I'd say if you're going to go with a magnum caliber MG, go with .338 Norma Magnum instead of .300 WinMag. The US Military, especially USSOCOM, have been looking to go with that as kind of a bridge between GPMGs like the M240B and HMGs like the M2 Browning and KPV. There are three currently that I know of: the SIG MG338, one from Ohio Ordnance Works, and a third from General Dynamics I believe. They're roughly the same size and weight as a GPMG, but with much better range and terminal ballistics. Kind of an HGPMG. I think that would be better suited for a future space MG.

Second, you do know they have run-flat/airless wheels for military vehicles, right? They have these airless wheels which have a honeycomb pattern cushioning instead of being filled with air, so no having to worry about tires popping. Again, would be much better suited on a futuristic wheeled APC/IFV.

I've always loved 300 win mag though and I chose it long ago. The calibers in universe go from 6.5 Creedmoor for rifles, DMR'S, and LMG/SAW's, 300 win mag for GPMG's and "heavy" snipers, 12.7x108mm for the 50, and 14.5x114 for the very HMG before we get into auto cannons. Also 10mm for military pistols. Energy wise it scales with everything else. But yes I do know about the 338 "bridge" guns between 308 and 50.

Yes I do know about run flats, though they aren't invincible, you still can fuck them up.

Since then its as if he's made it part of his brand when he's on camera, which is just retarded.

If we apply Occam's Razor to this the conclusion would be he keeps wearing it because it was what he was wearing when he first officially revealed himself. I think this theory holds weight as he's never really indicated a particular love of the French military, or De Gaulle, so there's no apparent deeper significance.
