For Bam, it boils down to the fact that he's still got money, and he's still got a crowd of people willing to basically suck him off. His real friends from years ago all left his ass, gave him another shot when they wanted to do a movie and they bailed on him after his bullshit with that too(and rightfully so). Look at all of the burnout losers he's actually hanging around with, there's no success there. It's a bunch of idiots who will throw whatever they have at him because their brains are as fried as his own.

As for the DUIs? Yeah, it's unfortunately pretty typical. However another thing to consider is that most of the time when Bam does some shit dumb enough to actually get himself in trouble with the law, he's not in the same places. He's never seeing the same judges. He's not a repeat visitor to the county jail, etc. Unless he finally manages to kill someone or get busted for some federal crime, he'll just be out on bond within half a day, pay a fine, promise to do some community service bullshit, and then be on his way to go fuck around somewhere else.

Outside of the United States the definition separating both Prison and Jail is different. Not everyone here is a gun-toting, bible-thumping, taco-eating 'real' American.

Dunno, but it honestly doesn't take much to avoid being a bum on the street and he really isn't doing much better than that. When I say he has money, I don't think he's sitting on millions, I think he's got enough of an income to avoid sleeping behind a dumpster unless he chooses to.
