I can't find the post but someone talked about how someone said a while ago that if one Myth goes they probably all will and I just want to say there's no way in hell Mori graduates now that she's put DDK on hold and gone all in. I don't think Ina is going anywhere either because she seems to still be enjoying just casually streaming to supplement her art career. Gura I imagine has a fucking amazing contract of "I'll do your side project shit but I stream when I want to".

Point is, I don't see this as a cascade starter.

I know I brought that up. I distinctly remember the girls saying that if one went they all would but a lot changes in 4 years and well…the doir has been left open…
 
It sucks to lose something great like Ame while we're left with shit like Froot. Why must it be this way?

I'll definitely miss her and I'm sad to see her go but I'm not too surprised, although I always had my money on Ina going first. I'm guessing with success came more red tape for HoloEN. The girls have said when they first started out they had little support or oversight, so I imagine it was probably easier for Ame to get projects going back then. Gura has said that a lot of her projects end up getting axed these days, so I imagine the same is true for Watson.

I wonder if she already has another job in mind she wants to do or if she's just managed her money well enough so that she doesn't have to worry about it for a while.

I don't have a problem with that. I'd rather they keep the door open when leaving on good terms. Which would still be pretty rare.

If she's at least in her late 20s or older, and doesn't have lavish spending habits, her Holobucks would put her well into fuck-you money already if invested wisely.

Ah, thst would certainly explain the not streaming. If all of your plans get axed and the perm stuff does seem to be hell.

Why stream if you can stream anything that interests you?

Recently bought a studio or a whole bunch of tech, so she very likely has plans.

And when since she is still working with them they likely still pay her a retainer.

Not to mention Ame always seemed to have her head screwed on so likely set for life.

And if she does get into issues I’m sure Cover will allow her to stream to cover it. Assuming she needs it.

If she goes live as not Ame people will find her and cover her in seconds.
 
Ame's announcement kept me from posting some recent HoloGTA stuff but a little distraction might not be bad today.

It's basically the cousin to the Japanese one where the same issues largely apply and worst of all some of those talent actively used their fans for sexual activities because they know how dependent they are.

I don't think the reaper is going anywhere but I do think this is going to open up the floodgates if you know what I mean.

Gura probably has the most stress put on her out of anybody in the company and a pretty ferocious fan base based on what I've seen.

If they're going to be adopting the Dwayne theory of popping up once in awhile then I can imagine that many other girls who were probably thinking about it could use this as a way out while still appearing here and there.

I don't see that happening. Gura maybe but again, she's too big for them to let go.

If you exclude Myth and look at Promise it's even less stark. Mumei clearly enjoys streaming too much to quit. Kronii is too risk adverse to quit. Fauna seems content with what she's doing. Irys is way too sheltered to even consider it, plus her music. If Bae ever quit I'd consider that the end of the world because she is living her dream and self admittedly pushing herself harder than ever. Advent is too new to consider plus Biboo is 100% engaged and Fuwamoco would be fucked without a Japanese sponsor. Same for Justice.

I just don't see enough disgruntled folks in EN for mass exits to happen. Kiara maybe? But she kinda feels like she gets off on the self flagulation.
