People criticize lesbians, and rightfully so, but I bet I'm not the only one who'd enjoy seeing Megyn Kelly and Maureen Callahan kissing each other on the lips, and stuff.

edit: you liars.

edit: just in case the mods get nervous, this a show about American politics, talking about the recent Kamala "interview" with Oprah.

Are there any decent write ups or books on Watergate? What actually happened there? When I've looked it up in the past everything that came up was "Nixon bad".

All the President's Men by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, the guys who broke the story and blew it up. It's pretty accurate with the downside being it made them both feted celebrities and kicked off the trend where every "journalist" wants to break a story that big to also become feted celebrities. They even made a movie from the book starring Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman that is very entertaining and well done if you like political thrillers (torrents everywhere, probably also on all the streaming services). It's a good place to start. Then a bazillion documentaries about it over the years that are all on Youtube. Start with the movie though.

Tucker did an interview on it not too long ago with a guy involved
There are a bazilion Watergate pieces out there but I'd suggest starting with Woodward and Bernstein since that's how America was introduced to the story and how the whole thing was framed for like a decade. Then after you can go down the rabbit hole and the further you go you won't know what to believe, just like everything else in modern media. I hate Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, they coasted off that story for 50 fucking years but I've watched that movie 100 times.

The David Frost Nixon Interviews after he left office are also historic. I enjoyed the movie they made about it too and so far as I know it's pretty accurate as well. 'Frost/Nixon' I believe is the movie. The interviews themselves are also out there but they went on for several days with only a few hours about Watergate. That was the first interview Nixon did about Watergate and he buried himself in it. Frost set him up masterfully.

The Phoenix program? Well you had two versions. You had the Army version, which you probably recognize as relocating friendly populations and using social engineering to flip informants. There were some beatings sure, but whatever. It actually worked really well.

Then you had the CIA version of the Phoenix Program. They were kidnapping people and torturing them to death, wiping out villages, desecrating corpses, etc. It did actually work but not as well as the Army program.

Vladimir Putin wants Kamala Harris in because she's an idiot trump is a war hawk he's just a piece through strength hawk which is if you don't stop what you're doing I'm gonna come over there and I'm gonna clobber you.
The Z need to realise something trump is more of a war hawk when it comes to Russia Ukraine more than anybody else he was the one who sent all the javelins and all of the stuff they were using to hold the Russians back to begin with he also threatened to nuke Moscow if tanks started rolling
Look put yourself in his shoes and ask yourself if you want someone who is so transparently weak and pro war that harris will immediately start shit to be perceived as strong? Thereby upping the chances of dragging everyone into a global conflict. Or do you want the guy that never started wars who negotiates harsh but fair deals in good faith?

Putins endorsement is a troll.
Trump is in a weird place with Ukraine. Part of his base wants peace through strength show Putin whats what send troops to Ukraine now. A larger part is in the "fuck Ukraine secure our borders" camp. Trump cant alienate the group that likes him because they percieve him as stronger against Putin, he cant alienate "fuck Ukraine". His whole "i will resolve it in 24 hours" could be a phone call to Putin threatening troops on the ground or it could be a phone call to Zelensky to pack it up.

Current rumour is hes going to force a cease fire and threaten Z with no more gibs and Putin with boots if they dont both agree.

Regardless. Kamala is a known to Putin. She will be a continuation of the last 3 years. Trump all kinds of shit could happen. Most world leaders dont do the chaos option unless they think they are fucked without it.
I fundamentally disagree on your point about Harris and I'm baffled people don't see it. She has no experience, no tact and an aggressive track record. Trump is a known element in the sense that he solves problems. The solutions are creative and unexpected but he resolves shit. Harris is going to perpetrate issues and start new conflicts, she's already said she's in favor of going after Iran.

Putin is not the conquering Hitler the media portrays him as, he'll be satisfied with a secured border and a defanged Ukraine. If nothing else I think the Ukraines possible involvement with the second shooter will make Trump a bit more receptive.
In Warhammer 40K, the only choices are evil zombie emperor, literal demons, giant bug hives, or dumb orks. Humanity doesn't have any other choice but to rely on psychotic supermen with oversized weapons.
Eh the tau are an option but they are kinda commies. I'm not sure I consider the emperor evil but he's been reduced to what amounts as a litch king and has do and be horrible things on the daily to protect humanity. The books said he always wanted to help elevate humanity. He was just a misguided ends justify the means kinda guy who couldn't read human emotions and needs well. His logic and good intentions clashed with reality.
The fact that it's not just that SS protocol is shit and they're incompetent but that typical protocols weren't followed and it just so happens that something happened. Paired with meatball saying he's getting stonewalled by the feds.

Bros... unironically.... was this shit an inside job? What the fuck.
Yes. From the very beginning. Sweet dreams.
I always considered the Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist Papers the first Autism Thunderdome threads

Andrew Jackson top 5? What crack are you smoking, we STILL have to deal with the consequences of Andrew Jackson's Presidency to this day. He was one of the worst and most destructive Presidents to US morale early in our history AND he invented the Democrat party. Andrew Jackson was the first of many pieces of shit Democrat Presidents. I'll never understand why Trump said Andrew Jackson was his favorite President, I kind of deep down hope Trump was being self aware and making a joke no one got when he said that.

And there's no way Nixon will ever be looked at differently, It's way too ingrained in US culture to hate him for that to suddenly reverse. I could maybe see FDR getting less praise in the future but Nixon will always be looked at as one of the worst, Abraham Lincoln will always be seen as one of the best.
Besides the trail of tears how is Jackson bad? He's the only president to ever pay off the national debt. Prevented the civil war from starting early, dueled the shit out of his enemy's and he hate fucked the banks.

I'm legit interested in the other possible bad parts of his policy.

Stupid fuckers arguing that Viet Nam was worth it are beneath the level of reasoned discourse. I shall waste no more time on their foolishness.
Oh good. Since I wasn't arguing Vietnam was worth it, just over whether the B-52 was advanced compared to the Soviet S-75 rockets used to shoot it down, can you answer my question as to when the B-52 first took flight? The S-75 was first deployed in 1957.

Ok, I see what you were arguing. Remember, this is the Autistic Thunderdome, and you need to accommodate the retarded. The thing is, Nixon still stupidly and recklessly deployed the B-52s. I maintain that whatever illusory objectives may have been achieved in Viet Nam were not worth the slaughter of even one White American. We lost tens of thousands of White men to Viet Nam. Yes, we lost other races too. But we lost tens of thousands of White men to Viet Nam. Cheering for that shit is cheering for White Genocide.
