I can hopefully answer your questions by relaying my own experience up to when we disbanded. Did we have pedophiles in HellCast? 100%, I won't lie about that and it isn't something I am proud of in the slightest. When I joined HellCast, I had no idea who these people were nor the things they were accused of at the time since I wasn't really on twitter or in this community at all. I was completely blindsided by Oli when it came to the people that was brought in and I really don't like making excuses for myself- saying I didn't play a part would be completely false. I took everything at face value instead of looking into the people we were bringing in at the time and keeping my guard up.
This all being said; Oli had told us that his reason for doing all of it was for the sake of "gayops". He wanted to get the pedophiles to trust us so we would end up getting information- however sometimes that was not always the case and we wouldn't get any info.
DracoTheFemboy was invited at the time because he was dating Binx, itzxNe0's victim (17 at the time), and was used for information regarding Ne0. I had no idea that Draco was a pedophile until after he was banned from the server for being a pedophile. It makes me sick to my stomach that we possibly allowed grooming within the Hellcast servers for the sake of "getting information". Even though the information on Draco was apparently widespread on twitter, according to various tweets that occurred before Hellcast's involvement.
Nova was invited multiple times to the servers and I knew very little of her at the time until after I banned her from the HellCast servers- as well as blocking her on all of my socials at the time. Nova pulled a Nova and began to sperg the fuck out on twitter, then it led to Nova telling Draco that we had filed police reports on him. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure why Oli invited Nova- like I don't remember ever being told specifically why she was here or what information Oli was trying to get out of her at all.
HellCast did disband due to infighting and a lot of stuff was getting leaked out to the public before we could even have grips on the situation. I was genuinely frustrated with the situation within HellCast and decided to exit for my own sake. One of our staff members did turn out to be a confirmed pedophile, though I'm not entirely sure of all the details regarding that incident. The details to me are very vague but it was recently discussed on twitter by various accounts.
