It's frankly baffling that someone with so many skeletons in their closet and a history of repeatedly being caught out in varying degrees of falsehoods could even fantasise about somehow passing the public vetting process of ascending to one of the higher offices in the nation but look who we're talking about. You don't *get* that many skeletons and clashing backstories unless you have a ton of impulses, no self-review and a disregard for reality. What's going to happen when an actual journalist Googles her name? Or she's in the paper, not Twitter, talking about 'her childhood' etc? It's not going to be obsessive kiwis attempting to track down college message boards for anecdotes, it's going to be the populace as a whole, being fed these stories and that's how you get people who go 'Wait, I know that person..' or 'Huh, I was there and I don't remember her' and so on. Boom, TransGate.
The only way I could remotely see it happen (optimistic ratings ahoy) would be if she outed herself as trans and ran on that ticket [which will include weathering the storm of 'You said you were a girl growing up. How can we trust anything you say?' and related mud-slinging and lies-upon-lies]; but as HRC just learned, the public isn't buying identity politics and 'wouldn't it be progressive if we-' style antics now. Maybe if Trump gets 8 years and pulls a Bush, making people so thoroughly sick and disappointed of the right that flag will fly. But that's a lot of waiting and maybes. Who here honestly thinks Bri can spend 8 years working on *any* project? At the first whiff of hard work or something that looks more appealing 'oh btw I caught all 9000 Pokemon and I'm thnking of becoming a celebrity perfumemaker now, support my Kickstarter'.
