That’s because Democrats are more willing to protect corporate interests than Republicans at this point. Even in 2020, Democrats had more mega donors than Republicans. The populist surge within the Republican Party has made corporate less willing to back Republicans, because the immigration stances don’t benefit corporate (especially if H1B gets slashed).

Why in the world would you be optimistic? They have successfully done the same thing three times in a row now, and nobody has presented any effective way to stop them from doing it a fourth. They have made it very clear they're intending to do it again by swapping out Biden (whom nobody would believe could win after that debate performance) with someone who received literally 0 votes but is a DEI hire (so they can claim the non-sexist non-racists won).
Don't be optimistic. Go vote and then go participate in your local election community. Be a poll watcher, convince other people to be poll watchers too, don't let them chase you off or trick you into leaving before the count is finished. Stop them from stealing in your area. If enough people do that, then maybe the election will actually be fair. If they just sit around huffing farts and saying 'surely this time will be different', it won't.

You need to understand something.
Everything you see is scripted. Nothing you do or say will affect anything. Even if you somehow beat the game and managed to pull off an unscheduled assassination of a ley figure, they would simply be replaced and then your actions will be used to justify draconian security measures for the future. They are in complete control and they have been since the day this nation was founded because they are in fact the Government.
Nothing you see is real outside of random traffic accidents and electrical fires. Everything is planned.
You need to understand all of this so that you will stop ruining your own mental health by trying to save the world. You won't. You can only save yourself. Nobody else on Earth will believe what you know so you have to learn to forget. Your reward for forgetting will be a new life, a much happier life.

There's a bright spot in that sea of crazy. Harder now to convince conservative voters to vote "liberal": they can see that any such attempt is propaganda and manipulation.
For example, attempts to make Trump look bad or "fact check" him are unlikely to convince a Republican voter to go and vote Democrat.

Then, go to your local animal shelter, and adopt a cat. You'll know which one. You won't pick the cat; the cat will pick you. It might not be be cutest kitten or the shiniest black tom, or Siamese with the bluest eyes, but you will know. It will come up to you, curious about you and greet you with a meow, and start rubbing against your legs. If you pick it up and hold it close to your chest, it will start purring so loud you'll feel your dental fillings rattling from the vibration. Cherish this moment, in which a simple creature has expressed genuine trust and affection for you with no guile or malice, just happiness that it has a new friend: you.
Whatever else happens in this world, you can know for certain, this cat, which unconditionally loves you, will be safe from Haitians because it is in your care.
When caring for that cat has healed your soul enough that you can laugh at the clown show that is American politics, and call every politician and journalist on the TV the faggots that they are with joy in your heart, you may return to shitposting in the Autism Thunderdome.

Not everything is planned, nor do "they" have full control. COVID and other shitstorms that happen is proof enough that they don't have as much control as jaded schizoids want to believe. Don't listen to people like this, they are the type to allow horrible people to take control and facilitate brutal regimes and status quo's. It's lazy to believe that there is some draconian conspiracy that always wins, because human nature essentially demolishes that idea. No one is perfect and our government has slipped up many many times. Whether or not they will finally pay the price and be held accountable is unknown, but they are not some perfect satanic death kabal.
