This whole King's Coffers goal is probably one of the most retarded things Phil has done in a while, and that's no easy feat, but it also ultimately proves that he's willing to go against anything and everything in order to not give detractors a W. We all know he never combined tips and superchats because he could just pretend like superchats weren't there while he used tips money for gacha pulls. It was a very easy and convenient way to cry poor since Phil is incapable of keeping a budget.

With this, he's discouraged any and every reason to ever tip using PayPal. I mean, why would anyone use it? If you superchat you can do it directly with your currency, no need to have a PayPal account, no need to give Phil your information, everyone can see your message instead of Phil arbitrarily deciding he's not gonna read it. This may also cause dentractors to try and do troll super chats, but it's not even a plus for Phil since he won't be able to cry that he hasn't made any money when there's +100 on the leaderboard.

Not that we needed any proof of it, but Phil can't stand it when Doody and detractors in general make fun of him for not hitting the goals, and will do anything to "prove them wrong". I wonder if this will cause him to go on a Scorn-style rant and some big youtuber will make fun of him for begging despite having +150 on the leaderboard. On the other hand, he may give up on this before that happens
