if it is a 90 day program it would also line up with his claim that his last drink was june 5, which he claimed in a prior chat. not sure which is more likely except for the fact that the idea of him being sober for 90 days sounds impossible? 30 would be the bare minimum, but a "90 meetings in 90 days" is also possible as a recommendation by the lawyer.
The reason I don't think that's what happened is that as of the July CHIPS hearing he hadn't completed a substance use assessment. If he wasn't willing to do that, he almost certainly wasn't doing any other treatment activities.

What June 5th does line up with is the first CHIPS hearing, in which we learned that he popped for alcohol. By "hasn't drank since," Nick means he's successfully avoided testing positive for alcohol since then, which is the same thing as not drinking :really:

I might be over analysing, but..

@49:45 finishes his first coke can and then places it off to the left side of the camera, an audible *clink* can be heard, indicating it is empty

IMG_0638.jpeg
@51:15 he reaches for a second can, that is from a different location off screen than the first

@51:30 chatter calls him out for being drunk, in response Crackets smiles and says he’s doing ‘almost’ daily urine tests, rolls his eyes then…

IMG_0640.jpeg
@51:47 He then takes a sip from the second can, despite not visually or audibly opening it beforehand, whilst also looking directly at the camera which came across to me as strange

The first thing that stands out to me is, why the hell has he got a bunch of pre-opened coke cans prepared? And then secondly, why does he seem so glib and defiant when reading the chatter’s message and then taking a swig from his second can?

his first stream he had a full can of Fresca....that is a lot of drink for 1 hour. He was mixing that shit for sure.

Typical Nick. Making it clear he is going to those meetings because he has to and he isn't like those other people.

This isn't a redemption arc. You need to admit you had a problem and/or made some terrible choices. Saying you sit through pointless meetings that don't apply to you or your wife cos you aren't addicts isn't redeeming.

I'm unsure why Nick fights the drug case so much. Is he fighting it to get CPS off his back? At most he is going to be sentenced to probation and testing. Likely gets a clean record after his time is up. If he has to pee clean for CPS anyway, why fight the same thing on the criminal case?

Unless if he has success in his criminal case the CPS case also vanishes? Perhaps so.

Wait, is Nick actually implying that if they made speeding completely legal or removed all speed limits then less people would die in traffic accidents? is that the pants on head retarded way he's interpreting those numbers? or is he just seething that he personally wasn't the exception to the law?

if it is a 90 day program it would also line up with his claim that his last drink was june 5,

Nick says the program he attended was "really quick" and focused on relapse prevention. It was outpatient. He was in a group with a lot of "meth guys" and one "fentanyl guy". Some of them were in there "for like a year". It was five hours a day. Nick only had to go once a week but went three times a week because he "wanted to get finished". He went there in the morning and it was "like a class".

Unlikely that this was going on since June.

Someone with a lot of time one their hands could probably figure out where he went:

I don't recall Nick telling a struggle session story, it was Legal Mindset that talked about his struggle session with Bytes.
I think he mentioned something like he would've been subjected to one if he had attended her wedding. Legal Bytes, on the other hand, was subjected to a struggle session of her own on GoodLawgic's channel. I wasn't on her side, but I was cringing by the end and was surprised that she stayed the whole stream.

Someone got a bit tanned here? He looks like a rotisserie chicken.

I think I've seen him do that type of thing before and it seemed suspicious.
At one point a few months ago I had started to make a clip of a stream where it looked like he was drinking out of two cans and putting them down on different sides of his desk and switching them in his hands when he picked them up, but I gave up on it because it just didn't seem glaring enough for a clip.

Just the fact he's compulsively drinking anything on stream when they rarely go over an hour or two is suspicious. I can totally see him thinking he's owning everyone by secretly drinking alcohol, he loves hiding deniable facts in plain sight, it's practically his MO. And his body language doesn't say "this is a delicious refreshing soda" let's just put it like that.

Cutting wine with Fresca is peak middle aged woman thing. Though I admit it can give second wind to a disappointing bottle.

I expect Nick is cutting the alcohol so he doesn't piss as hot. Part of it is a "Catch me if you can" mixed with "How dare the court tell me to stop".

Oh I dunno. He might be lying about the frequency.

It's more likely he is sober and cocaine free. Keep in mind him and Kayla have prescription meds for their fix.

The Internet is home to a lot of bizarre schizo correlations, but 'speeding tickets increase traffic fatalities' is one of the most inexplicable leaps in logic I've ever seen.

I'm sure things would run much better under Nick's stewardship, with a free bag of cocaine and multiple unsecured weapons for every home.

I suppose he is trying to say that people will die in the same numbers regardless if the cops are monitoring speed or not.

He needs an example he can relate to. If you give 26g of cocaine to every person in America, is it less or more likely that a greater number of people have their kids taken from them for 2 months?

At least he’s given up any pretence that he wasn’t caught with a shitload of drugs, he’s now just desperately looking for the magic lawyer incantation to wriggle out of serious consequences. And seething that he couldn’t go to rich people rehab and had to slum it with other crack heads at the hands of the state.

He really sounded impaired and depressed too. Is it brain damage from all the street coke, or xannies and alcohol? Or both?

Totally felted. This isn’t going to end well.

Gotta appreciate that Nick did the classic junkie move of disparaging other addicts.

“Well you know X is a totally different beast than MY drug!”

They always do this. Doesn’t matter if it’s an alkie complaining of heroin addicts or heroin junkies pointing out how coke heads are the worst. Their drug of choice may be a problem but OBVIOUSLY not as bad as OTHERDRUG.

That's not how I heard it. He made it pretty clear he was going against his will, didn't see the benefit and how he isn't an addict like everyone else there.

This seems to be a CPS court requirement for getting the kids back.

Nick spends the majority of his time trying to control the narrative. Sitting in chats, watching shows and clips, trying to turn opinion.

"It's funny being in a place where you do drugs to have fun and go party"

The homeless guy who begs for drug money outside my local supermarket also believes he's doing drugs to have fun and go party. He looks a lot like Nick, but he's a lot more coherent when he's asking for superchats from the passers-by.
