I get where you're coming from but I don't think it's that deep. The 'I am not worthy' schtick is a pretty common (and extremely cringe) reaction in weeb fandoms to anything they consider impossibly amazing. It's very similar to the even more cringe practice of literally bowing on your hands and knees in front of people and inanimate objects you are impressed by (if you've ever been to a comic con I guarantee you've seen some autist unironically do this).

TL;DR it's less about self-deprecation and more about giving exaggerated praise in an attempt to be funny. It's still pathetic, cringe and desperate, though, so I suppose the motivation's not that important.

It doesn't really matter, that's just how you react when you don't understand how to interact like a normal human being. I mean, a normal person wouldn't be commenting on this shit at all, but a 'normal' person in these circles would leave a comment saying 'love the wig' and move on with their day.

It's 100% on point for Cheebs to be in a foreign country "he loves and feels at home with" with a girl who's his ex, and he spends his time online simping over whores who wouldn't even give him one second of their time. Cheebs has everything he claims wants in Googly eyes but won't make an attempt with her again because she isn't Japanese.

First time posting in this thread, but i have been aware of this turbo autist since the Caveman incident back in what? 2014?.. i've had to do a bit of catching up but this guy is astounding, he's a human being without a single trace of self awareness or charisma along with a martyr complex thrown in for good measure. Almost like a pale imitation of what an alien species would think a human being is like. The most infuriating thing about him to me personally is his absolute ballwashing of Japan in such a cringey weeb way. As a degen weeb since the 90's myself, i take pride in the fact i act normal in public and around others and can seperate my hobbies from every other aspect of my life.

I think the real reason he won't put a ring on Gogglebox is because he knows she would probably say yes, and that would ruin his lone wolf tortured soul persona he's spent years cultivating.
