Not Just Bikes / r/fuckcars / Urbanists / New Urbanism / Car-Free / Anti-Car - People and grifters who hate personal transport, freedom, cars, roads, suburbs, and are obsessed with city planning and urban design

1. As a good leftist why did he leave jeetopia diversity megacity 1 for an actual white country?
2. How SPECIFICALLY is he identifying these Americans travelling to Europe weed smoking city and cycling and driving?
1) The Pajeets are all carbrained and not enlightened Train Enjoyers like himself. Jason wants to see more Jeets get destroyed by their natural predator the Train.

2) He looks for pretentious faggots that look like himself to see if they are retarded tourists. It's a 100% success rate.

Decided to check back in on this community by watching a random Not Just Bikes video about how Japan is the best country in the world and how it's still not good enough. The amount of buzzwords packed into the intro alone makes me want to develop a bingo game for these videos with a board an order of magnitude larger than a normal bingo game because otherwise, all 25 squares would be checked off every single time.

I will never experience such vibrancy in my car:

NYPD Cops Open Fire on Knife-Wielding Man on Brooklyn Subway

Also NYPD are terrible shots:
Mickles then charged towards Officer Mays while brandishing the knife, before turning toward Officer Wong. As a result, Officer Wong discharged six shots from his service firearm, and Officer Mays discharged three shots from his service firearm. Mickles was struck by the gunfire and fell to the ground.
As a result of the gunfire, Officer Mays and two civilian bystanders sustained gunshot wounds.
Brooklyn, N.Y. — On September 15, 2024, at approximately 2:55 p.m., NYPD Officer Wong and Officer Mays were standing in the mezzanine of the Sutter Avenue L Train Station and observed 37-year-old Derrell Mickles enter and jump over the turnstile to avoid payment of the fare. Officer Wong and Officer Mays followed Mickles into the train station and, after a brief interaction, the officers ordered Mickles to leave the train station and he did so. As Mickles exited the train station, he displayed a knife in his right hand. At approximately 3:04 P.M., Mickles again entered the Sutter Avenue L Train Station. After loitering in the mezzanine for approximately one minute, Mickles unlawfully entered the transit system through the exit gate, again avoiding payment of the fare. Officer Wong and Officer Mays again followed Mickles into the train station. Officer Wong and Officer Mays encountered Mickles on the elevated northbound train platform, where Mickles held a closed foldable knife in his right hand.

The officers repeatedly ordered Mickles to drop the knife. Mickles refused to do so and became verbally combative. Mickles then entered the northbound L train, which was occupied by several civilian riders, and continued to refuse Officer Wong's and Officer Mays' orders to drop the knife. Once on the train, Mickles opened the blade of the knife and brandished it in his right hand. Officer Wong and Officer Mays both deployed their Taser Conducted Electrical Weapons, but the probes did not immobilize Mickles. Mickles maintained possession of the knife in his right hand.

Officer Mays approached Mickles and kicked the knife from his hand. Mickles was then taken into custody and the officers rendered aid to him. While the officers rendered aid to Mickles, a civilian bystander picked the knife up from the floor and left the scene with it. The person who removed the knife was later found and the knife was recovered. As a result of the gunfire, Officer Mays and two civilian bystanders sustained gunshot wounds. Officer Mays and the civilian bystanders were treated at area hospitals for their injuries. Mickles was transported from the scene via ambulance to Kings County Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries. For his actions, Mickles was arrested and charged with Attempted Assault in the First Degree, Menacing of a Police Officer, Theft of Services, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.

Cars are more dangerous than guns:

Leftists don't own guns because they'd go on a rampage or kill themselves:

More violence:

An interesting bit of double-think here; they'd probably nod along with "guns are good if it's by a cyclist" but then disagree with the concept that guns should be used by law-abiding citizens as a whole.
They have no standards. It's just about whatever suits them at the time. Similar to violence/torture/etc it's only ok when being used against their enemies. They only recoil when it's suggested it's going to be used on them.

I was able to clock this guy's location from one of his videos (link|archive):

He's in Florida, which has strong Castle Doctrine laws that include occupied vehicles. The histionic Plebbit definition of LITERAL VEHICULAR VIOLENCE!! isn't going to apply when he escalates a petty traffic transgression into a justifiable homicide.

Interestingly he doesn't seem to be a Leftist:

Somehow he manages to sound like both a cringe ironic Millennial and a tryhard wannabe tough guy at the same time:

It's not that they don't want guns used by "law-abiding citizens"; it's just that their definition of a law-abiding citizen is anyone who disagrees with them.
the moment you suggest that car owners should be able to carry a gun they will start screaming to the left to disarm them for wrongthink. They might not be as utterly pozzed as they are!

They will claim that wanting to own a car is a mental illness and that mental illness should then disqualify normal people from owning guns.

When urbanists talk about "traffic calming", they're generally not talking about discouraging traffic on residential side streets, they're talking about screwing over thoroughfares with lower speed lanes and fewer lanes.
Okay, yeah, that's retarded.

Arent most of the arguments/laws around kei trucks being in the highway more about how they cant survive crashes with anything at highway speeds? and not just about big trucks crashing?
Nothing survives a crash at highway speeds.

The NHTSA's frontal collision test is done at 35 mph. The side impact test is done at 38 MPH. You can get those collision speeds on urban collector roads, to say nothing of arterial ones or proper highways. On highways, you'll have speeds of 50-70mph or more. If you've ever been in a crash, you'll know you can do enough major damage or even permanently disable a car at speeds as slow as 15mph.

Honestly part of driver education should be just that - a controlled crash in some junkyard-bound vehicle at five or ten miles per hour into a post or something.

The amount of damage and energy that a car has from low speeds is tremendous.

A corollary is that a bike with a adult man at speed has a tremendous amount of energy too - if you’ve ever seen one at speed hit the side of a parked car you’ll know what I’m talking about. You certainly do NOT want to be hit above crawling speed by one.

Back in high school one of my friends rolled into someone's trailer hitch at 5mph at a stoplight. Cracked his radiator and nearly totaled the car.

Speaking of that. I was curious how a Kei truck actually fairs during a crash.

Here's a video of a Kei truck vs a Ford Ranger

The reason I keep harping on this is there is nothing that will make a Kei truck safer. Even if you remove every other vehicle on the road larger than it including garbage trucks and buses. Kei trucks are still a threat to other Kei trucks let alone other vehicles since the core facet of their design is that they have no hood.

No joke the amount of collisions I've seen with trailer hitches involved has inspired me to want one as a deterrent against people rolling into the back of my car while looking at their phone.
