You’re right. Blizzard is pretty much responsible for the ‘anime-ization’ of RPGs in the west. I was thinking about playing AD&D back in the day and the art in those days was a lot more grounded. Then Warcraft came out and it’s bright green orcs and swords bigger than the characters holding them.

Yes, because they're conservatives at heart. Conservatives have always believed that once their opposition fails, people will come running to them to put them in charge. It never happens, because people are attracted to positive vision (which conservatives don't have), not petulant whining. The neocons are absolutely done, and there are now way too many senior people in the GOP who never want to hear the words "Bush, "Cheney," or "Romney" ever again. It's not about Trump, it's about how they wrecked the RNC, fucked up 2022, and betrayed the party as an institution just because they didn't get everything they wanted.

CNN again? They have already been caught cheating in favor of Hillary and Joe. Trump has all the just cause he needs to reject the invite.

A real ballsy move would be for Kamala to request Fox news to host. If Trump rejects then he looks like a huge coward among undecideds and her base for rejecting a debate with moderators from a "conservative friendly" MSM. If he accepts then she can call him a coward for only accepting it due to it being a "conservative friendly" MSM then try to get the venue changed to a more "fair" one.

Wouldn't work as well as you'd think. Since he'd accept a Fox news debate, she'd still lose and complaining about it makes her look like a sore loser. Might also hurt Fox's credibility if they act like ABC too.

It seems like the Democrats' thinking is forever frozen at the time of the Obama campaign, maybe because after Obama won they gutted much of the party's campaign infrastructure and purged up-and-comers so no one could challenge Hillary. They're treating the race as a retread of Obama but you can't run as a "change agent" when you're in office. Obama promised change and let voters fill in the rest with their imagination, he positioned himself as the answer to whatever gripe you had with Bush. Kamala doesn't have such a blank slate to draw on, there's no room to imagine with her because there's little reason to think her policies will be any different from Joe's, especially given her reluctance to discuss them. Obama's "hope and change" was a feels over reals message that was ideal for its time but dusting it off in 2024 doesn't work at all.

I didn't say she would go though with the Fox news debate. Just use Fox to egg Trump into accepting a 2nd debate then switch it to a different host like MSNBC or something under the guise that they are "more fair" than Fox and he is a coward for only accepting because they are "conservative friendly".

It's 1am and I am tired so I am just spitballing ideas to save Kamala's campaign. My other ideas include:
  1. A kiwifarms Townhall hosted by HHH and Android Raptor.
  2. A black women in power Only Fans shoot staring Kamala, Stacy Abrams, and Lori Lightfoot.
  3. Sending Trump's campaign and supporters free pagers.
All of these has to be better than just repeating the same "I was middle class" speech every other month and hoping a schizo lined his sights properly.

It really is like a challenger who missed their chance to beat the champion and wants a rematch ASAP. Maybe Trump will accept but I don't think he should, she had one chance and she blew it. Now, anytime anyone looks for the time they debated, all they are going to see is her dumb facial expressions and super-rehearsed speeches, after all the billion Trump memes about cats and dogs, ofc.

Pretty sure he will accept… eventually, after using their desperation to work out conditions more favorable to him.

I don't know why anyone would think a Fox debate would be more fair to Trump than CNN. This year's CNN was actually very well handled for both, it's just that Biden was out of it.

The Fox one with Chris Wallace in 2020 was even worse than this latest ABC one. So if Trump was going to do another one I'd recommend he do CNN. If he does one at all.
