It is a rather unstable source of income, but it isn't as if the rest of the economy is all that stable either. If you know how to manage your finances and to invest smartly, you could end up better than some wagies. As well as the fact that almost everything in tech nowadays is done by contractors rather than by regular employees

I know that youtube is technically a viable job market now, but you should definitely have a back up plan. Youtube usually starts as a hobby people have while working a day job until they get bigger. You will need a GED to get something that pays more than $8 an hour, and you said you hate McDonald's so I assume that's out lol

Honest advice.
Get a real fucking job and do that video nonsense as a hobby. It's unsustainable. The ones that made that into the job are literally the 1% of the 1% or less.
Then when there's an adpocalypse, most of that 1% gets fucked because their finances are fragile, depending on the whims of some faceless nasty corporation that doesn't care if you die.

Don't lie to us you bpd broad and act like the only way you can get money is by either being on disability or having a video editing job for a youtuber in spite of having zero videos you've personally edited.
