He spends first 40% of the video to "history of journalism" and half of it is just crying that Steve Bannon tried to grift WoW coins and that people allied with Milo Yunopolos during Gamergate despite him not even playing games!!!(damn, who does that remind me of?) and the rest is just an extended version of the Fuck Nick video. I'm starting to think all of these people are retards who need a leash and Yahtzee needs to fuck off out of there and just hire a fucking manager.

More than expose how evil Nick is (really it just makes him look extraordinarily petty and bad at his job, which isn't news), all this video does is paint a picture that behind the scenes Second Wind is, unsurprisingly, a bunch of retards fighting over Yahtzee's table scraps. The gossip about Marty, as well as Frost including a clip where Nick casually mentions that Jack got divorced, is pretty amusing, though.

Haven't paid attention to yahtzee and his antics in a while. What caughts my attention is how dead the escapist channel is now, truly remarkable. 21 videos since yahtzee left and all of them has a pityful amount of views. Seems they are deleting negatives comments as well. Extremely :optimistic: of me to even suggest this but I think they could've hired another guy to make zero punctuation, and could've made it work. Just hire someone with enough charisma and not so retarted and gay takes. Too bad they're so far gone now, yahtzee included. He's such a fucking lazy faggot now is kinda sad.

Nah, yahtzee was enough of a personality on his own that he specifically had the fans and was the draw. It wasn't like when the Extra Credits(or whatever the fuck they're called now) channel changed hosts and was largely fine until they started dumping politics into the videos. Hell, it's the entire reason why this second wind shit is so dumb in the first place, anyone besides yahtzee is just some tag along with a tiny audience. Just look at the escapist channel 2 years ago. No controversy, isn't recent enough for people to be randomly clicking on shit really after they wound up in the news with yahtzee and the rest leaving.

Every ZP video there, 300k, 580k, 270k, 620k, 340k, 319k, 660k. But everything else? There's a single video there that doesn't involve yahtzee and managed to break 50k views. Most of them haven't hit 30k, and a bunch are under 10k. But it's the same story if you go back 3 years, 4 years. 5 years ago the ZP shit was making 500k-2million views, the rest of the crap was making 20-100k views on a good day. Hell, they deleted everything that wasn't ZP from 6 years ago or just didn't bother to post anything but ZP. If you want to go back to when something besides Yahtzee's ZP videos actually broke 100k views regularly on the escapist, you need to go back a decade to when Jim Sterling was still posting jimquisition videos. Yahtzee may be a lazy idiot, however he was the only thing keeping that channel alive for almost a decade. They'd have been better off firing everyone else, doubling what they paid yahtzee, and just becoming purely the zero punctuation channel and anyone with working eyeballs would have realized that years ago.

What's funny is that with yahtzee gone, they're actually not too far off their views for the past couple of years, as anything beyond 10k for the most part was likely just residual views once people were done watching whatever yahtzee content they wanted.

You know what was weird for me to see on The Escapist? The Full Frontal Nerdity webcomic. Apparently it had seperate strips on their site, relating to vidya rather than tabletop stuff. Then it stopped updating and FFN went on as usual. Guess the artist got sick of working for TE.

Their site is shit too, I saw them posting an article that was a list of Roblox games like dress to impress. I have no idea if their site was always this bad though I've never cared enough to check

I don't care what he spergs about, as long as it hits Nick where it hurts. I hate that soyboy with a passion, and I hope more people will start to pile up on him as the SW ship starts sinking.

Necroing this thread, I find it extremely funny that Second wind has gone back to Escapist numbers. They get like less than 10k views on average for non Yahtzee videos/livestreams, Yahtzees gets a few hundred thousand views, sometimes a non yahtzee video reaches 50k views. This shit really aint looking good for Nick. But as a wise person once said
"Lets all laugh at an industry that never learns anything tee hee hee"

I checked out his game on Meta critic there's two critic scores and two user score, the only positive one is Screen rant (shocking I know)
This game came out in May, no one gave a shit
I don't know why I keep harping on this game, it just baffles me considering how popular Ben is
