TGWTG Eric Gaede / Asalieri - ChannelAwesome reject that pirates from his peers

He actually coined the "Pissed Jose" and "Storytime with Uncle Linky" phrases that trolls still toss around to this day.

But he got salty that his "Reviews" did nothing to their success. He wanted to be able to wreck reviewers careers with his videos and seemed to realize he would never be able to do anything to the likes of AVGN, TGWTG, or anyone their size.

Which is when he and some other sperg came out with "Punchdickia" a supposed sendup of the TGWTG anniversary special "Kickassia" except it really fell short. For all their lack of talent, Kickassia was kinda funny in parts and I still love the bit where Spoony gives in to the madness and becomes Dr. Insano. His overacting is glorious. It also spanned an impressive hour and a half. That's a lot of material.

Punchdickia on the other hand was I think one episodes that barely took up maybe fifteen minutes of actual running time. It's just sad. When you make a spoof of what is essentially a spoof you fail miserably unless you're extremely clever. And nobody ever claimed that Asalieri was clever.

The fact that he scared that Sour Apple guy from Youtube is amusing. Then Asalieri lost his balls and became a "I'm no hater, no sire" guy who lost the only draw he ever had. Then apparently he made big with that song about female vydia characters that thunderfoot retweeted and it got 100k views or so, and he saw potential in making Youtube shekels again by attacking feminism.

What gets me is that Asa criticizes the use of TGWTG and Bores' use of characters, yet apparently when he does it, it's okay.

I remember when for a while, Asa stopped his RAR shtick and did dozens of videos attacking feminism. In fact, he even adresses it in that BenTheLooney episode. (because that suddenly excuses it, amirite?)

Those feminism-bashing videos got old really fast (even for anti-SJW fans), and Asa was like "Well, those videos bring more views than my regular stuff, you can't blame me for that"

Which is just a bullshit way for him to say "I want to release stuff I feel like doing on impulse, including my casino visits or random vlogs about my travels, and will use whatever mental gymnastics to defend that".

He really tends to flip-flop on his motivations. One time, he wants to do something "different" (thus review obscure low-hanging-fruit reviewers), another he whores himself for "views".

Reminds me when Doug had "Honest Trailers" do a parody of his Nostalgia Critic show in an intro. This felt more like a "Look, I'm self-aware of my faults! Therefore whatever I do is okay!!" alibi.

- Lewis reads shitty comics, Asa at one point read shitty fanfics. Complete with stupid voices.

It makes him sound completely hypocritical when he does the same things they do.
