I find echo chambers boring, and all the internet is anymore is echo chambers. Reddit, twitter, Facebook, 4chan, all just people circlejerking themselves in self assured belief they are ultimately right. No one questions if they could be sipping the koolaid whether Democrat or Republican it is rather pretty boring. If it is very disruptive I’ll leave but I was hoping for some civil discourse and exchange of ideas so understanding can spread and insight beyond some caricature of what a liberal believes could be considered, because I feel everyone is just painting everyone else in the worst light possible.

But you know who else does nice things? Nice people.
Just because politicians engage in Batesian mimicry of nice people doesn’t mean that everyone who does nice things must therefore be faking it. That’s an absurd point.

Now, I understand that trump is Cheeto Hitler or whatever. But just saying “but hitler did nice things too!!!!1!” Doesn’t prove Trump can’t actually just be a nice person. And it certainly isn’t a persuasive way to argue that proposition. Especially not to people who are generally supportive of Trump.

I humbly suggest that instead of bringing up Big H, you instead maybe find and produce evidence showing Trump is faking it for propaganda purposes. And if you can’t, then I urge you to either reconsider your position.

In a fair election, I'd expect an actual red wave. The problem is that no one can fully call it because of the ballot issue. It's hard to tell how much it will impact the election until it happens. I hope they have a hidden ace other than "make it too big to rig".

I think they're going to blatantly rig it and force you to use your guns. The reality is TPTB want to destroy Burgerland and that's the fastest way to do it.

My only hope is that that the rigging process is led by DEI hires and they manage to screw it up completely. They have become less in numbers and more in stupid in recent times.

If he makes a nice gesture and gets complimented for it, it's always suspect and the complimenter gets accused of having zero critical thinking skills and just hoovers in the propaganda. Again, if Kamala or Biden or even one famous Democrat paid for someone's groceries, bought hamburgers for a whole restaurant, or took over car payments for six months for a single mother of five, that would be a great gesture, regardless of the intent. Again, it wouldn't change my vote, but I would see the objective good will in something like that happening. I can also look at Trump paying for someone's groceries as a good thing, and still not agree with everything he does or stands for. I can even vote for him because his values and policy as a whole line up more with mine than the other side.

I always go back to that study where they discovered that conservatives and independents can see the other side, while liberals can only see their side and project it onto the other side. The times I've seen that proven wrong in both public and personal life is when the liberal isn't a true, die hard liberal. Tulsi, RFK, most recently the Mayor of Hammtrammck (I've been there several times and can never spell it). They've been able to set aside idealogical differences to pursue what they think is a better policy for the country.

I used to like root beer. I wonder if there is anything remotely real in that bottle at this point or of it is all just sugar and artificial flavors.

It's impossible to have 100% natural ingredients in root beer because sassafras is the major ingredient that gives it it's flavor and it's banned from being sold as an ingredient because a bunch of doctors loaded some lab mice with so much sassafras the mice were ate up with cancer. It was a majorly flawed experiment because they gave the mice more sassafras than any living creature would ever consume and just because mice got cancer from it doesn't actually translate to humans. No one cares to correct this because the labs love having the power to ban anything they want if they say so.

Nevertheless sassafras is banned, so any root beer that wants to actually taste like root beer must use artificial flavors. This is why when you buy a 100% natural ingredients root beer from the store it won't taste like root beer at all, there's no sassafras in it.

Pepsico does runs of throwback sodas every once in a while. I'm not sure if it's their old recipes or their new recipes just with cane sugar instead of corn syrup but the pure cane sugar (and classic branding) is the selling point on the packaging. Whatever the case, I remember one time my mom bought my dad a pack of the throwback Mountain Dew and he hated it lol, he drank half of one and threw out the rest. There's tons of footage of Joe Biden interacting and being friendly with children, and it's all so creepy it makes your skin crawl. Not so much of him interacting with dogs though, because all of the Biden clan are so retarded that they can't even raise a dog correctly, and it just goes around biting Secret Service agents all day.

There's not much footage of Kamala Harris interacting with kids and supporters, however, because her every attempt to try and come off as a friendly and genuine human being is an awkward, dismal failure, and she ends up looking as artificially-sweet as saccharine, and always insultingly condescending.

Joe and Kamala are so awful, they can't even do propaganda as good as Hitler did.

There are some realities so stark and bleak, that even the most-professional, and best-funded propaganda can't hide it.

you know I've been thinking recently and came to the realization that no one right left or center really has a positive vision for the future at this point.

sure they might have things they want to do like "lower taxes, or reduce immigration" but nobody really has a coherent overarching plan to leave the world in a better place then when we found it. even when i was a kid you'd have depictions of the future in media and it'd at least sometimes show like a utopia, but all over the west there feels like there is no optimism now that we're building towards a better world anymore, no "shining city on the hill" to strive for.

You have to realize those "shining cities on the hill" utopias are fictional right? And EVERY TIME there's a utopia in science fiction it's only a utopia at first glance until you look deeper and realize they're really a dystopia in disguise. There's a lesson to be learned there, notably the lesson that utopias are fake and can't exist in the real world. Like it or not America is the closest thing we have and will ever have to a utopia and it's going down the drain, America can be fixed though of course or put back on the right track but it will never be what your imagination wants it to be.
