Season 2 wasn't supposed to have any fans and it became a major issue with the show to the point where both Sam and Jet were very clearly bothered by it. I honestly think it's why Sam half assed that season as much as he did. That was my point.
I'm not sure what you mean, they purposefully cast fans for season 2.

Yet iirc they openly advertised casting to the fans and didn't do any prep/vetting to try getting a non-fan cast, while I agree with your points the fault is on them for being lazy and doing everything last minute, they reaped what they sowed. Additionally I see the S2 cast as better than the S1 cast, but the wiggers refused/were unable to adapt to them already having knowledge and experience of the show. A fan cast can work but it requires a good production putting them in interesting challenges/scenarios.

One of the best moments in S2 for me was Tay barricading Fatty inside the gooncave after he had been annoying and creeping on her for over a week, and continuing to fuck with him for the remainder of the day. But after that there was barely any more content before the finale because there was no more incentive for her to fuck with him since she got even, and production wasn't doing anything to cause conflict/drama. Meanwhile one of the best parts of S1 was the baby challenge due to it incentivising sabotage which led to the massive argument between Jon vs Sylvia and Mauro. Incentivising sabotage and fucking with other contestants for a reward is great for content but was barely done, with the only S2 examples that comes to mind being the milk-rice bucket challenge and I don't recall if it even mattered in the end. The other example is the furniture challenge, which Shinji carried by stealing everything from the other time while they slept (I see this as a good example of production interference, even though Tay won against Shinji, staying awake longer than him, she didn't bother to wake up Jimmy so he could be on guard as was planned which led to Jet waking up Shinji, allowing for amazing kino).

tl;dr : The issue is not a fan cast but production needing to use the cast properly and not be lazy, they need to plan for 6 weeks of content in advance so they don't burn out like they've done before and allow for organic conflicts and drama and have good challenges that can cause that.

Letty's baby shaking adventure was an all-time great Fishtank moment...until the wiggers penalized her for it.

Not only does production not incentivize sabotage, they actively punish people who engage in it. This is done through more direct ways like Production outing Letty and Vance after they stole Jon’s baby or in indirect ways like targeting Fish who go out of their way to stir up drama and conflict. The only thing a Fish gets by following through on schemes and betrayal is a target on their back that Production and other Fish shoot at.

The Fish aren’t stupid, and they notice these patterns. It’s why many Fish in season one were all bark and no bite post baby challenge and why the Fish of season two did mostly nothing for 3/4’s of the entire show. Anytime they did, they were punished in one way or another. Better to just stay quiet and maximize your chance at winning.

I agree with everything in your post but this. Letty, Jon , Vance and Josie were absolutely better than Jimmy, Shinji, TJ and Tay. It’s not even close. TJ was such a horrifically bad finalist and it had nothing to do with the riggers he has zero charisma.

Josie was not a better contestant than anyone, she was barely a contestant.
Josie and TJ proved that if you want to win, do as little as possible, which is the exact opposite of what reality TV should be.

The winner of season 2 was a barely verbal autistic man who's most notable trait was rocking back and forth and you guys are debating whether season 1 or 2 had a better cast lmao. Come the fuck on man. Jimmy was great though I won't argue that.

I really want to be invested into this upcoming season of Fishtank looking at all the stuff coming out now and I know I will give it a shot when it airs, but season 2 as good as it was at times was filled with such fake & gay FORCED dramatics constantly and it felt icky causing me to tab-out to just watching clips on xitter every once and awhile for the worthy highlights. S2.5 grabbed my full attention for the most part, I felt even more invested than S1 somehow. I did not watch BitchTank at all, I know zero people who did as well. BT looked a bit gay and boring compared to so much other avenues of entertainment at the time and too close of timing just coming off the 2.5 train so I don't know if it was truly a hidden gem and I don't really care either. So overall not sure if anyone else feels this way or some air of lethargy going into S3 but if I there is just more of the major blunders from S2 I think I'm out on Fishtank for good. I'm ready to be proven wrong, hopefully.

Where did this come from? They all look like people made by that one This person is not real website.
Am I the only one who thinks they may like slightly alter these cast photos to make them look weird, maybe weird angles or lighting? I remember on most of them people will go 'Oh shit they look weird!' then you see them on the show and people go 'Oh they look different'. Letty had the wonky eye thing (apparently not edited but the idea is there) and people were calling her a freak and ugly, now shes like the most thirsted after girl associated with the show.

I dont have them and my memory is shit but I remember thinking Abi looked like a frog in her photo (or other people said a bug I think) but on the show and I think in Bitchtank when you see her in the game closet or whatever she looked more normal.

I feel like they may have messed with Summers photo a bit but Summer messes with her own photos so nobody knows.

Idk maybe I have a thing for nerdy or kinda weird girls, so I think its normal. Maybe its like the thing with govt IDs and they always look weirder.

I think why it looks weird is because I remembered the application requesting a selfie headshot and giving specific instructions of what to do, but people go into selfie mode so you do have different angles, different lighting setups, filters from the phone or whatever, and then the wiggers just take the lasso tool or magic wand or whatever and really kinda slapdash cut out the silhouette of the head and paste it over a portrait background so when theyre all together the juxtaposition makes it look weird. I kinda like it actually cause it reminds me of those old Mad comics with the really bizarre caricatures next to normal looking people.

It doesn’t even look like they’re done with the wiring.
