I pointed out just yesterday that would have been an exercise in futility. The arrest warrant is clearly and obviously facially valid and it isn't even borderline. It lays out more than adequately the basis for probable cause for the purpose of finding illegal drugs. The Franks hearing was really the only way to rebut that.

I thought Nick might try (and he still might) to exclude the evidence in some pretrial motion like a motion in limine, although I can't see any reason for that unless there's some silver bullet in the bodycam video (there are no silver bullets). However, the court seems to have slammed the door in his face on that one by ruling everything he didn't raise in the omnibus is waived. That may be the most brutal part of this ruling.

The judge basically said enough of your bullshit, Balldo Man, we're moving forward.

From the other lawyers takes and the little I know it feels like the three options nick has is double down on corruption and try and shame the county into dropping it (insane), go to trial and try and blame it all on Aaron (stupid and risky) and essentially take a deal, claim responsibility and save his wife and side ho by taking all responsibility.
