Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

As someone on the outside looking in, I just can't understand their insistence on only pushing the Mandoverse. They've utterly given up on expanding outward because they tricked themselves into thinking Acolyte's problem was that it was "too ambitious"
Risk avoidance; "this worked, so it will continue to work"?

Fixation: "I'm a manchild who wants to keep playing with my favorite action figures"?

Pretension: "Yes, this is actually peak Star Wars, our artistic vision is infallible"?

There are so many just-so stories popping into my head, and I hope that within the next decade some good tell-alls leak that transcend the usual YouTube rumour mill swill in terms of depth & plausibility.

Narrated by Doomcuck.

My Dearest Mathilda,

No doubt news will soon reach you of the failure of the Acolyte. A colossal flop of this magnitude can only mean our victory is close at hand, yet Kennedyists refuse to yeild despite their leader having had all her powers stripped from her by the board in secret meeting that definitely happened. She only remains skulking around the offices to serve as a impotent figurehead, and her fool-hardy loyalists must know they can only delay not stop Andor season 5 being green lit, so long as the fans continue to support us with Disney+ subscriptions, buying OT, PT, and Mando merch, and hate-watching the bad series, as the bean counters are able separate out these numbers.

Kennedy's days as a scourge on this once-great company are numbered. We are triumphant in the halls of LucasFilm, tearing down DEI posters and I personally have delivered a furious upperdecker to Kennedy's executive bathroom with my own two hands. If things continue at such a pace, I fully believe that soon we will have Filoni and Favreau installed and our new film will in theaters in time for Christmas.

The best to you and all the children,
Corporal Archibald Crominigus IV, Esq.

Mando is the only runaway success Disney Wars has had, so they are going to milk it for all its worth.

What choice does Lucasfilm have? Make sequel trilogy content? No one wants that. High Republic shit for the 20 some odd trannies that read it? All they have left are the Furryloni fags that want to deep throat wolf cocks so it's nothing but Ahsoka from here on out. If they had some decent writers and some cash they could do a season 1 to 4 era GoT style show about the formation of the Republic 25,000 years before the OT. But there aren't any 'member berries they can throw in it so the few people left that watch Disney Star Wars won't be interested. Lucasfilm coordinating that attempted demonetization campaign against Nerdrotic and crew shows they are desperate and that they know there is no way forward for Disney Star Wars.

Never mind, I'm sure Skeleton Crew will save Star Wars.

Le Guin was propped for no reason other than having a vagina and being willing to openly preach feminism. None of her books other than the original Wizard of Earthsea are remotely readable
Anytime anyone brings up Le Guin it's either to tell me she is a feminist or to laugh at something retarded she wrote.

The truth is women in sci-fi and fantasy generally resent the label and the ones who are there would be held to an entirely different standard if they were men.

It's because Kennedy still has a death grip on the future of the franchise. She's pushing through another movie with Rey as the lead. The Mandoverse is them desperately trying to get some kind of momentum back with the fans after she crashed the plane with no survivors.

I don't think it's that they don't want to move forward so much as they can't move forward. It is not an understatement to say that The Last Jedi killed the franchise.

The true answer is Old Republic. Not sure why they haven't pulled the trigger on that yet, considering it would solve most of their problems.

My only ideas and it is as risky as doing a 25,000 year old republic film is to just go forward. I think they need to Just push ahead 100-200 years after Rise of Skywalker when everyone from the ST is dead. There is a new Jedi Order and maybe make it so the Universe is in a multi polar situation due to the chaos of the First Order attack. This would at least create a blank canvas to tell new stories about the GFFA in which we dont know what will happen in the future (This is the problem that exists with mandoverse, Andor, and even a Old Republic era content).

I don’t trust current Lucasfilms to do the Old Republic justice. That’s why I’m cautious about how the KOTOR remake will turn out.
KOTOR remake isn't turning out luckily. I think it got shelved a year or so back because the dev team was too incompetent.

I beg to our merciful God that we get the Rey movie. Not because I want to watch it because the failures of Lucasfilm are more entertaining than any slop they make.

NOTHING this company ever did with this brand was objectively good, even their recent remasters ranged from decent-ish to outright insultingly bad. So, yes, when the fail, it brings me sick pleasure.

Thats like when your teacher fails your essay and you explain to your parents "It was too ambitious" or "it was too smart".

I cant help but get DSP vibes. "Lolcows of Hollywood" sounds pretty nice to me.

No, it's still going. Saber Interactive is working on it since they moved away from Embracer.

Which is destined to be a flop because modern devs dont hold a candle to classic ones and like hell you can get away with things the original did. Dont get me started how the gameplay will certainly become "easier" for a bigger audience who cant play RPGs to save their lives.

Also Daisy Ridley's pretty cute, so that'd be cool.
