Russian nationalists and the like don't regard Chechens and other Caucasian ethnicities as "white". In this case, the division is not by skin colour, but "Slav/not Slav", though.

Also, Chechens aren't the only Muslims in Russia - there are plenty of other people, such as their neighbouring ethnicities (the Ingush, etc.), and the faraway Tatars in Tatarstan, which are chill.

It's not just Dobson, there are a lot of Twitter users upset about Kanye's meeting with Trump. The thing I find most strange is that I don't think Kanye even expressed his opinion on Trump until after the election, so what are they shitting on Kanye for? It's not like he had any impact on Trump winning the election.
