You mean ADP?
Ah yes, that's it. It's a wonderful little scheme they have going on. Once a year, near the end of their fiscal year they throw this huge event. It's supposedly to "reward" their 500 top salesmen. It's split into two weeks with 250 salesmen a week. A week consists of an all-expenses paid trip to somewhere nice along with expensive dinners and a top shelf entertainer giving them a private concert in the middle of the week.

In reality, it's near the end of ADP's fiscal year and they need to write off a fuck ton of stuff quickly for their taxes. I got very friendly with the planner which is how I got clued into all this, including what people were paid, and that Katy Perry got $3 million for her two performances.

For example, I was there to be random dinner entertainment for one night each week. They pay well because the more they pay, the more they can write off. So I got $2500 a week, along with a $75 per diem, and I got put up in a private apartment on Whistler mountain with its own kitchen (so I just grocery shop for the two weeks and pocket the per diem - score! I think it literally cost me $60 for two weeks of food). So at the end of the first week, all the salesmen leave and the second batch of 250 show up to be rewarded with their free "vacation" for the second week.

It's a perfect scheme because at the end you get happy workers who work even harder for you because they're under the delusion that you care about them and will reward them, and ADP gets to write off a fuck ton of stuff - the planner told me that the event I worked cost ADP $32 million for the two weeks.

The year before, they did the same thing but held it in Hawaii and the headlining entertainment was Maroon 5. The following year it was held in Barcelona and the headliner was Lady Gaga.

God bless corporate America.

we can see who turns it on when they're on the job
You nailed it about Harrison Ford. On screen the guy is magic - he always comes off like he's winking right at you and you're in on the joke. On interviews? He comes off as a miserable bastard who actually hates what he does. I watched some interview with him on David Letterman where Letterman asked him innocently if he keeps any props from any of his big movies for sentimental reasons and he responded something like, "I'm a wealthy man. I don't need that junk". Even Letterman seemed taken aback a little.

And you've been drinking this ever since right?
I kinda skipped over that detail which was part of the sad irony. No, you can't get Sarsaparilla anywhere near me in Queens. So they make it 10 minutes from my house to send to the midwest to sell to locals and tourists like me who have some retarded delusion that they're reliving the Oklahoma trail, but they don't stock it in any of the stores in the state where they make it. It's part of what made the overwhelming black cloud of "fake and gay" hang so heavy.

fetishism of the 1980s is based largely on how people who lived during that period talk about it and choose to portray it in the media they cre
I think a lot of it was started by Europeans who have this weird "idealized" version of America in the 80s and don't understand what it was really like here. It's like the majority of the cringe synthwave stuff, was all flooding out of Europe. It's why all the artist's have these ultra retarded, kitschy names of weird combinations of products and brands in America in the 80s.

I have this retarded cousin in Italy. He decides to come to America for the summer back in the 90s. As soon as he gets here he wants me to take him to the beach. So I throw him in my car and take him to Rockaway beach. He's completely horrified that the beach is packed with nothing but obese Puerto Rican women with giant hoop earrings, and you have to keep your sneakers on because there's so much broken glass, litter, and assorted junk buried in the sand.

This fucking greaseball, that sadly I'm related to, was in complete delusion that ALL of America looked exactly like what he was watching on Baywatch every week. He really thought I'd take him to the beach and it'd be gorgeous blonde lifeguards running in slow motion, and model quality chicks by the boatload in barely there bikinis that he would have his choosing of.

Television is a hell of a drug.

Though, I can't always blame them. I want to go back to when big mustaches and hawaiian shirts were just bad fashion choices, rather than a sign of political brainrot.
You're gonna make me bingewatch Magnum P.I. again, aren't you?

because this guy also happened to be black, we'd get customers in who would try to "brotha" him up, and he'd go ballistic
Ages ago I had a black friend who was from Birmingham. It was never not hilarious to watch people's faces when they would assume he was some uneducated mofo and instead he'd open his mouth and it'd sound like a grey poupon commercial and he'd use words like "meters".

First of all, the Minsk agreements were between Russia and European countries - specifically France, Germany, and Switzerland. The US did not sign any of those agreements and the US had nothing to do with the negotiations, other than an endorsement after they were completed. Merkel is the one who fucked Putin, not Obama or Trump. You can read about it here and I suggest that you do. Obama and Trump sanctioned Russia separately. So, in short, you're wrong.

Second of all, the Democrats crying foul every time the Republicans win an election is a separate issue from US foreign policy on Russia and Ukraine.
Does it matter if the US negotiates with Russia in good faith of the US's closest allies clearly do not, and plan to make a situation where America will step in and supply weapons and support?

Now you're just blaming the US for the actions of other sovereign nations. This is painfully stupid and you should feel bad for arguing it.

I do recall the US military regularly going behind Trump's back, to the extent of lying about how many troops they had in places Trump ordered them pulled out. There was clear discussion between the mic and Ukraine at times.

She should, because every time she is allowed to open her mouth she says dumber and dumber shit and it's hillarious. Bonus points if they go rogue, which I doubt. I would put her on MATI if I could. I want her to go to ALL the podcasts.
MATI is a bad pick as Josh doesn't really do interviews. We need someone who is a skilled interviewer, someone very familiar with politics, and is a working class family man... we need Ethan Ralph. Put this bitch onto the Kill Stream ASAP!

The Minsk agreement was negotiated by France, Germany, and Switzerland to buy time for NATO to arm Ukraine and assist them in retaking Crimea. America's ink might have not been on the page, but when it comes to security agreements involving NATO countries, nothing happens without America's approval. America was not an innocent bystander in that process.

Second of all, the Democrats crying foul every time the Republicans win an election is a separate issue from US foreign policy on Russia and Ukraine.

No, it's really not. It means the US is fundamentally unreliable, and nothing it says can be taken seriously.

Apparently they are lying to Kamala too given she said "we don't have anyone deployed" during the debate.

The Minsk agreements were not negotiated by NATO, Tuco. Ukraine is not a NATO country. You're also saying that Western countries, including the US, had no reason to distrust Russia after it invaded Ukraine and brazenly stole its territory (Crimea).

If that's really how you feel about US government and foreign policy, then this whole conversation is moot.

Afghanistan and the XL pipeline demonstrates how quickly the US can change on a dime. Trump made deals with other nations that they agreed to and when Biden got in he completely ignored those agreements. Which at the end of the day lowers our credibility.

This speaks more to Biden than it does the US writ large. The only agreement that Obama negotiated and Trump withdrew from that anyone cared about was the Paris Agreement. No one cared when Trump withdrew from the Trans-Pacific Partnership because no one actually liked it.

In spite of all the bullshit about Trump being some radical who came into office and undid everything, his policies were standard Republican. The Biden administration has been the most radical of any in US history and it's why it's been an abject failure.

Joe Rogan is a Kamala supporter who is married to a Jew and has jewish children. He is there to set the border of acceptable discourse. Same as Peterson and Shapiro. The chud reach out is marketing.

If he did go on it would be at least in half be "Jamie pull it up and check what he said" (spoiler Jamie is a libtard) and making sure Trump got blamed for the vax.

Smelly Kamala was softball interviewed by MSNBC hack Stefanie Ruhle, and it's a cavalcade of theater kid lies. She's still pretending she worked at McDonald's, I even heard it in a Kamala ad today on TV.

"Yeah, we can do it! We can't go back, so let's vote Democrat to keep our democracy on track."

- comment on "Trump rattled as Wall Street rallies for Harris economic plan" (YT vid code: bxOTU5uatOs)

More like "Yeah, we can do it! We can't go back (lie), so let's vote Democrat to keep our democracy on track (to communism)."?

Dude we literally have a thread to debate this, I don’t even disagree with your this just isn’t the place for it

The article points out how Tucker is promoting infighting and turning Republicans against each other.
Wait, wait, I've seen this before. "If Trump would only die/quit/let us puppet him then we could go back to losing with dignity. He's turning us against each other!"

Transparent nonsense. Tucker is pointing out problems we have that they'd rather we not acknowledge yet alone ever address. How evil of him.
