Who the fuck do they headcanon as trans? Is it Peter? You know, the gross rat man who was happy sleeping with little boys for years and grovels and scrimps slavishly and almost to a degenerate point? Yeah. He seems real troon coded. Troon or Pooner.
Also, this rewrite of the Maurders as some accepting and chill twee friendship is really very stupid especially when you saw the truth from the other side. They were little shits like every other kid. What makes you think they'd be super chill with some Troon shit? Kids are brutal and mean.

Voldemort being trans-coded is an interpretation you could take if you go beyond Death of the Author and just completely divorce a work from its origin. He has a previous identity he tried to completely erase, his previous identity is one of his weaknesses, he has undergone a physical transformation, and even the killing girl in a girl's bathroom is close enough. He might not have done it personally, but he is responsible.
It's a viable reading if you completely remove the social context of late 90s when Chamber of Secrets was written. Trannies trying to get into girls' bathrooms and being sex predators wasn't part of the public consciousness back then. They were either a joke or sad people castrating themselves because of mental illness. In the context of the period and writing choices JKR could have reasonably made at the time, there's no way Voldemort is trans and so there can be no possible transphobia on JKR's part.

Which just shows you how much the culture has shifted, because it used to be widely headcannoned that he and and Sirius were lovers. Hence the outrage at him ending up with Tonks.

Remus. Regulus was Sirius' brother. I imagine someone probably headcanons brothercest because they're gross but Remus is the one often shipped with Sirius.

You're talking about Remus and he's probably still paired with Sirius, not sure if he is popular as a pooner character though. I wouldn't be surprised if the once popular gay pairing is now straight with extra steps. I meant Sirius' younger brother, who is only mentioned in the books since he died after stealing Voldemort's Horcrux.
It's easier to attach your retarded headcanon to a character that doesn't have a lot of backstory or established fandom. When I was looking up stuff about that huge, popular Marauder fanfic (All the young Dudes, of course comes with a "JKR is a transphobe!!! (but I still need to use her characters" disclaimer), it turned out that for some reason since 2020 James and Regulus as a pairing have become a thing and I suspect fujo pooners to be responsible.

You see this a lot with super minor characters. For a somewhat ironic example, Blaise Zabini, who for years was commonly portrayed in fanfic as an Italian chick. Then in book 6 it turned out he was a black bloke.

The real bottom line is that these men are incensed that JKR continues to cause them narcissistic injury by existing, calling them men and pointing out that they don't belong in women's spaces, and they want to hurt and humiliate her for it. That's it. They want her to suffer consequences they see as degrading, shameful and humiliating - having her work stripped from her so they can make Harry Potter parade around shouting "trans rights" and make Ron Weasley a girl who got her tits chopped off, making her publicly apologize to every stinking greasy-haired troon in Europe, and making her live in poverty while all her money goes to fund their amhole surgeries. They're getting off on imagining this in their heads - I imagine comments like that are all typed one-handed by men who spend a lot more time watching violent degradation porn than is normal or healthy.
Of course, they would never suggest such a thing about a man, needless to say. I find it an interesting counterpoint that no troon has yet to demand that Neil Gaiman - who did actual real harm, as opposed to merely causing psychic injury to some terminally online narcissists - be stripped of his works, made to apologize to all women and donate all of his money and resources to charities that help women who have been victims of sexual assault. Then again, I've hardly seen any trannies address the Gaiman issue at all, which doesn't surprise me as we know they've got no problem with women being raped and abused.
As someone who fell down a weird Tumblr rabbithole a while back ("gee, I wonder what the Marauders fandom is up to these days," said a naive Sourceress on her ill-advised second cup of strong black tea, about to be scandalized) I can confirm that it is in fact Regulus. They ship him with James Potter (Harry's dad) now, apparently? Also Harry's mum is a lesbian too with some other bit part character (Daphne... something). It's all very confusing and as someone who remembers the Old Days of the fandom, makes me feel very old.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but after checking what's new in HP fanfiction I miss the times when Draco Trilogy was the Big Name Fanfic in this fandom. At least some of its bits were entertaining (most likely those plagiarized ones).
