Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE THREAD.

I've been seeing people on Twitter griping over the fact that Trump doesn't have the necessary Security detail from the secret service and that they had to scrap plans for a meetup and went for a smaller event instead. Then they proclaim Harris did it and its election interference.

People then ignore the fact that we got a UN General assembly going on and a good chunk of the detail has been rerouted over that depriving man power even after security has been ramped up because of the assassination attempts.

theyt held all 3 offices when Trump came into office. now they only have the house in a narrow margin, because they are self-sabotaging dipshits that want to be a uniparty with the DNC, and did everything they could to screw over any nominated candidates the establishment republicans didn't like.

Canada is no different. before we got based pierre as the CPC leader, we had a couple of limp-dicked surrender monkies as leaders of the official opposition. the one guy was so weak that Trudeau could've went over there and fucked his mother on the parliament floor and nothing would've happened, and the other guy coped and pasted trudeau's and changed them every week every time he got even the slightest pushback from journalists, and then cried and ran away after he unsuprisingly got beat in the election in 2021.
I know someone's mother who'd love to fuck Trudeau (and honestly, can you blame her?)

Lol at thinking there's a "uniparty". Republicans have been doing everything they can to stop Democrats from doing anything for decades and now the entire Republican party is a Trump cult

I would LOVE to see somebody take one for the team, buy one of those $100,000 watches, and have it appraised. There's a reason why the disclaimer on the website says the watch is "not for investment purposes.""

Or, have a Trumptard shell out for one and watch as the gold plating wears off and the "diamonds" start falling out. Then the watch company would be sued because Trump's lawyers were careful to include in the disclaimer that the watchmaker is not affiliated with Donald Trump, his organization, or any affiliated partners.

No one will need to do that.

Just like his sneakers, Cybertrucks and NFT's, eventually someone will try to liquidate that "investment" and find out no one wants to pay anything near what it was bought for because it's just china shit.

Remember in 2016 when he proposed a revolutionary hands-on approach to the immigrant problem (muh wall) and then when he got elected for the next four years just... didn't do anything? All he did was ride off the coattails of deportation facilities that had already existed, but were later credited to him (by left loons, I admit.)

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

In fairness, "some" wall was built. But the VAST majority of it was already existing and received additional "Border Wall Systems", which is what Trump says should be considered "new". When you read reports from DHS in 2020, they don't call it new "Border Wall" they call it "Border wall System" because it was just adding layers to existing infrastructure.

But when you dig into the details of it:

Various types of fencing totaling 654 miles (just over 1,000 km) were already in place before Mr Trump became president in 2017.
These ran through the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

The Trump administration say they've completed more than 400 miles of border wall since then.
It's 452 miles (727 km) in total, according to the latest US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) information (4 January 2021).
However, only 80 miles of new barriers have been built where there were none before - that includes 47 miles of primary wall, and 33 miles of secondary wall built to reinforce the initial barrier.

The vast majority of the 452 miles is replacing existing structures at the border that had been built by previous US administrations.
President Trump has argued that this should be regarded as new wall, because it's replacing what he called "old and worthless barriers."

Billions of dollars so far, and not a cent has come from Mexico.

As of October 19, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) was reporting that 371 miles of new wall had been built. Using data from a regular CBP status update, we conclude that, of those 371 miles:

  • 16 were built where no fencing existed before;
  • about 170 were built where only “vehicle barrier” (structures that could block a vehicle but not someone on foot) existed before;
  • about 135 were built to replace older, shorter fencing; and
  • 50 miles are new or replacement “secondary wall” built parallel to existing fencing.

As that status update indicates, this has been built—and continues to be built—at a cost of approximately $15 billion in 2017-2020 funds. (Our best current estimate is $15.067 billion.) 70 percent of that money was not approved by the U.S. Congress, as our constitution dictates. As WOLA detailed in January, Donald Trump wrested most of that from the Defense Department’s budget by declaring a “national emergency.”

It seems ridiculous even to need to point this out, but not a dime of this has been paid by Mexico, as Donald Trump continues to falsely declare, nor is there any plan to recover the money, whether through tariffs, border-crossing fees, or any other mechanism. The U.S. taxpayer has built these 400 miles at a projected cost of $20.4 million per mile. Even without cost overruns, that’s nearly $70 from every U.S. household.
