Note which of the two of you got the girl.
Well, when a girl tells your her favorite book is about a glittery vampire stalker, you tend to not ask her out after. Even if your goal is just to bone her. That being said, I hope she bit the greasy fuck a lot and he had to just shut up and take it. I guess the moral of the story is "Guys will do anything to get laid".

My gf forced me to watch all the Twilight movies.
They were not very good.
A chick forced me to watch one of them eventually. It was the one with the horrible CGI baby. That was hilarious and creepy. The things we do to get laid...

The old geezer at HR retired and got replaced with a woketard woman whose also a stickler for company policy.
"No, You can't just fire people for smoking in an industrial environment which is a fire hazard! You have to warn them first and write them up y'know!!!"

Bitch, the reason old HR didn't care is because this is an industrial environment with explosion hazards. You've never gotten remotely close to anything potentially hazardous in life for work judging by the fact you went to an equivalent of Pepperdine university. If someone is smoking outside the designated area they're getting the boot immediately from me because I don't need to be sued after getting disfigureed from an explosion by the families of everyone killed.
it's horrifying to wonder how many men have died because of women's incompetence for positions they would never normally have

I remember how much shit Twilight got but considering how much worse literature became, Twilight is wholesome today by comparison.

Funny enough the author of Twilight accidentally killed the franchise by rewriting the first book but gender swapping the characters. She forgot that the reason chicks were into Twilight was that they were schlicking themselves retarded at the thought of getting banged and impregnated by a sparkly vampire. By the time that book came out, Fifty Shades of Grey was huge and Twilight no longer gave women the tingles.

Sometimes when interacting with women I am presented with a scary rabbit hole. I myself notice, or am told about a common pattern in their psyche. Things they do that I see as completely neurotic, evil, or alien. These range from: emasculation rituals, their implicit fetishes (masked men, violent men, monsters, being used, etc.) , the way they constantly hate one another and cannot even exist in the same space without moving out as enemies. Other things I cannot confirm but always float around in the back of my head; hypergamy, settling into a pattern of manipulation of comfortable using of their partner, growing bored of their provider, willing to ruin a 10 year marriage for one night of fun.

I am also concerned with their media of choice, extremely erotic books in which the "normal and boring" man is cast aside for the "bad boy who can be fixed." Exes would describe the plot of their book and it would always be the same. Sometimes the boring guy would even be cheated on, and it was seen as no moral crime because "he couldn't please her." God forbid the heroine actually spoke up and said something.

I personally believe it is some kind of psy-op run to make women malleable to leave their family and fuck a powerful or alternative (writer) man, and it eventually became a trope. They crave a relationship in which they are treated poorly and whisked away on an adventure. Or as we call it in the crypto space, a pump and dump scam.

This and much, much more brushes against me once in a while, and I have learned to not stare into the void. As a man all you can do is be true to your partner, be sincere and adaptable, and pray to the gods of love that she doesn't decide to destroy your entire life together for some fun. It is concerning when all of her media contains the normalization of cheating, polygamy, and free sex. Shows, Movies, Music. Women love to sing along to rap songs that talk about passing a girl around for all the boys. What in the fuck?

So I do not wish to fully understand women, I feel like those who went to the end of the logical journey despise them and cannot be convinced to gamble on one. You have to have the wisdom to know when to stop and just be ignorant.

I'm wondering, being totally out of the YA loop, are there even equivalent novels aimed at boys/young men? Like, wankfests instead of schlickfests?
I guess boys just cut out the middle man and watch straight up porn when they have tingles, and would rather read about dragons and spaceships if they read a book.

They tried their hand at it, there were a couple of YA books that I read when I was in that age bracket that were male-oriented and had sex scenes in them, but in general male YA is nowhere near as popular. Like you say, I think guys are just more visual coomers and prefer more standard pornographic material so books for that don't tend to sell well.

There's also sci-fi and fantasy that also put fuck scenes in but I've always found those weird and almost certainly written to titillate perverts instead of normal readers - I distinctly remember laughing out loud at the sex part in the Difference Engine by William Gibson and Bruce Sterling because you can literally see where the writers started typing that shit out with one hand, and the link between the normal writing and when the fucking started was jarring and the whole thing felt out of place. I think guys in general (scifi/fantasy neckbeard perverts not included) find written sex cringy, but women don't tend to feel that way for whatever reason and can lose themselves in embarrassing description.

Yeah, that scene was cringe. Gibson also put sex scenes and sexual content in Neuromancer, but at least there it kinda made sense in the world and with the characters.
It seems also that young men tend more towards novels that focus on the stakes and actions of people rather than the interpersonal relationships. There might be a love interest, sure, but she's either the object to save, or that part is more of a side plot and the main focus is doing some heroics to save the day.

I'm not sure about novels aimed at young men, but boys there were plenty.

On a side note has anyone else ever met women that were die-hard fans of something like Twilight or Harry Potter only to find out they never read any of the books or even saw all of the movies?

I've known multiple girls who unironically were die hard Harry Potter fans, dressed up every Halloween, had their rooms covered in posters, etc. only for me to ask them basic questions about something in the books and they finally caved and are like "I never read any of the books....and I've only seen like 2 of the movies". Then I feel miserable about myself for having seen all of the movies and then reading some of the books. I've unironically given more money to JK Rowling than any of these hoes and I don't even like Harry Potter. (This is also why I hate the phrase "read another book". I know most of them haven't read any of the books.)

You can kind of apply this to anything. Women will say they're die hard fans of something, like Queen, to the point they revolve their entire life about it, only to have never heard of any song other than Bohemian Rhapsody. Hell I even overheard a girl once say "OMFG, I LOVE HAZBIN HOTEL THAT'S THE BEST SHOW EVER!!" And I'm like "....You mean the 3 minute trailer...?" I went on to explain how it wasn't even a show yet (thanks KiwiFarms) and they only did a short trailer clip at the time. There wasn't a single full episode out. It wasn't even a fucking show yet. WHY ARE WOMEN LIKE THIS?!??!??

The mirror image of the woman you describe is a man who will say anything to get his dick wet, and really only thinks about banging the hottest chick he can. Both sexes have base instincts which, when indulged to excess, turn us into self-destructive sociopaths.

Modern society rewards people for being worthless, and it's increasing difficult to find someone who's not a fat, debauched retard, regardless of which sex you are.

Pretty much, I suppose. I guess you could point to the wonderfully illustrated comics of decades ago as a print counterpart. Manara, Livingstone, et al.

Never heard of this shit, all the ones I know were ultra consoomers along with the guys, and knew EVERYTHING in the books.

I know one who only read a few books, but has seen all the movies. Otherwise, no. Seems to be an extreme consoomer type I don't know personally.

Potterfags are some of the biggest consoomers I have encountered. Too bad their boomer queen betrayed their progressive cause by adopting TERFism.
Yeah after she turned Hermione black, Dumbledore gay, and made him have passionate gay sex with Johnny Depp. It's all around just terrible.
