The Communist Revolution happened because the Central Powers supported it in order to destabilise Russia. And Lenin agreed to pull Russia out of the war if he won. Also, during WW1 the Central Powers invaded Russia and occupied a little part of it you may have heard of called the Ukraine. ("Ukraine" is old Russian for "borderlands" as it was the edge of Russia.) Many of the "Ukrainian nationalists" you hear people talking about who the Central Powers helped annex the Ukraine were actually Galicians (from Galicia in what was then Austrian-ruled Poland) and others from around that area who were occupying Western Ukraine and backed by Austria-Hungary. (Many people in Zakarpattia Oblast in Ukraine are still ethnically Hungarian and speak Hungarian, for example.) When they annexed the Ukraine they added part of Poland to it (which is part of it to this day) and called it a country after Lenin signed a treaty with Central Powers that included annexing Ukraine and ceding control of a part of Poland that Russia controlled. There was no such country called "Ukraine" before this.
After WW1 there was a civil war between the commies who controlled part of East Ukraine via the Ukrainian Soviet Republic and those "Ukrainian nationalists" in what was now West Ukraine who had formed the Ukrainian People's Republic and the commies won and took over all of what was now the country of Ukraine. Then they joined the USSR in 1922. Then the USSR redistricted Crimea from Russia to Ukraine in 1954.
So, basically, if it wasn't for WW1 there would be no USSR, communism most likely wouldn't have taken hold of half of Europe, and all of Ukraine (apart from the part that used to be part of Poland) would still be part of Russia so there would be no Russia-Ukraine war right now.
Here is an outline of today's Ukraine on a map of Europe in 1900 and another map showing when it was occupied by the Central Powers by the end of WW1:

The article titles say pretty much all there is to say, they're alleging the cartels have smuggled nine SAMs over the border into New Mexico and are targeting Trump Force One. Their source is an unsubstantiated xeet by Ann Vandersteel on X, who I've never heard of
