It's partly "grass is greener on the other side", partly problems unique to a new generation of men, and partly porn -- these all jumbled together in a manner that coupled with the present zeitgeist cause trooning out to seem like a rational response.

Honestly though, and perhaps this puts me squarely in the terf / gender essentialist camp, but I do wonder if the whole subject of men explaining gender specific problems to women, and vice versa, can really be done. So much of what it means to be a given gender, both in terms of biology and society, are processes that shape someone over their life in a manner that is inalienable in totality. The only way to fully communicate it to someone would require the other to go through the entire experience themselves -- something only achievable by time machine and molecular reassembly, which is but pure science fiction. Instead, we create caricatures that are conditioned from our own experiences, which lead to bizarre neo-gender bastardizations of men playacting as women and women playacting as men.

Porn is definitely a problem in itself, and has helped create many of the (seemingly disconnected) problems men face. At this point though, I don't think you could remove it fix the problem it's caused. It's fundamentally changed how many men view women and sexual relations in general. I'm reminded how anal, strangling, and bdsm have been normalized in act or in public consciousness; trying to explain these acts to my grandparents who were alive during WW2 would be quite a difficult task as these were not part of their culture.

I just wanted to post that I, unlike Bowblax and will be taking a break from going through the Commentary Community thread over the weekend. All things in moderation and all that. Much like Bowblax I will be around the site and even this thread, just not dealing with CC aids on the weekend.

Pretty sure this is just a reupload of the stream from last week. Oreos will stream, then private the vod, then reupload it edited down. Yeah, I just skipped through it. There's nothing new here. If Oreos wasn't such a content vampire faggot and just uploaded the screencaps as images, I wouldn't even bother watching.

Welcome to trying to follow this drama. DeOreo has decided to make this as impossible to follow as he could so he can milk it for videos and livestreams.
