The issue that comes with talking about Myth inevitably leaving is that they are basically the generation one of Pokemon for EN Vtubers.

All of them are basically the archetypes that would be used for their contemporaries going forward so when one of them goes that is a usual that's not going to be easily replaced.

Amelia was the tech person and as far as I know none of the other girls are as competent and she is, so that's quite a lose.

Gura being the most popular talent that they have is going to be something that they won't be able to recover from because at that point you have nowhere to go but down because I doubt anybody is going to reach that Pinnacle again.

Calli is the LMM of Vtubers that taught a lot of her white and Asian fans that they might actually like rap and probably got a lot of them into the genre.

Ina is a phenomenal artist and even animates better than some of the people that I know in the industry.


Kiara for all of her faults is probably the only one that really understands how the idol industry works and basically choreographed the others.

The group is a definition of lightning in the bottle and none of their successors are going to reach their heights (especially since the niche has become infested even though there's only so many anime female archetypes out there).

Just enjoy them while they're still here.

yeah basically all three... or uhh two and a half because i think a lot of her non-porn content is still pretty porn-adjacent. i watch her YT shorts even though i generally have zero interest in coombait vtubers, and she's also p good in collabs with more mainstream talent.

maybe i'm just a retard who's bought into kayfabe, but mel seems like someone who's genuinely obsessed with sex (to a potentially life-ruining degree) and who has found a way to make a decent career out of a fixation that's almost to the level of disability. also the way she handled every "fleshtuber" in the world as well as Gaming Journalists relentlessly coming for her neck impressed me.

If she'd just been a regular vtuber, her metrics would probably look about the same as if she didn't spend so much goddamn money on an OnlyFans ready model. But, she's a thirsty coomer and she seems to like getting railed on camera.

I mean it was still kind of weird to have her not be there for any of the valve stuff considering every single other member of EN was there and more than half of ID, many of which came off and on for more than one different game throughout the stream. So it's not really a good assumption to make with the "she just wanted to be polite and not steal a spot!" bit.

I watch youtubers who only upload videos a few times a year what would fundamentally be different about that with a streamer? Does youtube even have a "pause membership" option or are you possibly just a retard who doesn't realize that any one of her members can just not re-up at any time, then if she comes back doing some member stream re-up at that time. There's no sense seething that there are people who maintained their membership during her absences, even if It's something I'd personally never do it's their money to spend how they want.

Again you are probably in too deep into the parasocial sauce if you think a random streamer needs to check in with you regularly. The viewers aren't their employer, their loved one, or even their friend it should be reasonably assumed that folks will just go watch something else when they aren't live.

But being this pissy about someone you don't watch who isn't causing any actual harm or behaving deceptively is also displaying a degree of investment in someone you purportedly dislike. That’s my only big issue with Mel. When she transitioned from porn to mostly regular stream, and kept it that way I wouldn’t have an issue. Sure it would be a dark spot on her record. But willingness to continue to do it is was puts me off
