I might have missed something, but I thought the surgery was supposed to make John sound more ladylike. He sounds exactly the same. Seems like pretty piss poor ROI if you ask me. Having your vocal coords sanded down can't be cheap. At least having his penis removed had some kind of tangible result. Did John ever have boobs put in? I really can't tell from any of the photos -- could just be skiny-fat moobs or just weird lumps.

As the actual Ghost Ship fire shows, the reports aren't fake but are quite obviously overdue.

Does this man think that when "Hugh G. Rection" calls and makes a false report of code violations, that hordes of jackbooted pigs just instantly storm a place and turn people out into the streets?

The most they do is actually inspect the place for code violations. If they find them, that's when they'll do stuff. And if they find shit like using goddamn extension cords as permanent wiring and other shit that renders a place a deadly firetrap, then they're entirely justified in shutting it down.

Heh... sorry, I just meant my own on-the-spot fanfic. Like he kept making those cooking tweets that had "@BlueApron" because he really wanted to be a comped tweeter, but instead Blue Apron just reported him to Twitter for spam/harassment, so he doesn't @ them anymore. I do assume he was comped at some point to some degree, since BA was one of his podcast sponsors (I think), and I can't see why else he would be doing those boilerplate promo/"@BlueApron" tweets.
