I've been thinking about buying one, actually.

The Harris campaign has arranged to have a small plane fly over Tuscaloosa during the game with a banner declaring, “Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate.”

That'll change a lot of minds.

 

[Why am I doing this?]

Weighting. They are -just- weighting for Political Affiliation to get the numbers. The problem is that warps every other demographic in the final. What you are seeing is a quite literally textbook example of improper weighting. This is -literally- the exact things pointed out in textbooks you are supposed to use to determine a weighting model is improper.

How can you tell they're weighting on political affiliation alone? I have never done political forecasting, but it seems like the obvious thing to do is to weight respondents to match congressional district demographics.

My friend in the ILA says there's almost certainly going to be a strike starting Tuesday. If there is, I think the election is officially over. If Biden breaks up the strike it'll destroy Kamala's support with workers, and if he doesn't it'll destroy the entire retail economy as prices shoot through the roof and people will feel more pressure to vote for Trump.

I do love how every statement like this is issued in a way that they describe the incidents as something that happened to them they had no control over. It's like a kid playing baseball saying "the force of the impact was too strong and the window was broken by the fast moving ball".
