Trans people are real, valid,
No one would have problems with trans people if they at least acknowledged the reality that they were born a thing, and trying to coerce people into going along with what they don't believe doesn't win you any friends, nor does it communicate any confidence in the position that they're trans in the first place. Scream at me that you're trans and the first thing I'll say to you is: "Are you trying to convince me, or yourself?"
Second: if trans people are so valid, they wouldn't need to put on a big show about killing themselves from not being accepted. They'd be valid to themselves. They wouldn't need validation from others, which is the sign of a healthy and balanced mind.
If you're hitching your entire life on the idea of people accepting you when you're assuming an identity that requires everyone to walk on eggshells because you're holding yourself hostage if they don't, you're going to go have a bad time.
That's why I take no stock in the idea that "acceptance" is the reason why there's such a high suicide rate in the trans community. Personally, I think it's the idea that you're treating the idea of an unhealthy mind by modifying a healthy body is probably going to throw you into a state of constant and extreme distress, because now you're interrupting the functions of a healthy body, throwing your normal functions into a regular tailspin, which does no good for your brain.
That's especially why you shouldn't give kids gender-affirming
anything. You shouldn't let them imprint with the idea that their body is incorrect. You shouldn't keep them on long-term meds while their bodies are still establishing the idea of a normal baseline independent of pharmaceuticals, no matter what the internet tells them. And for fuck's sake, living in a world where we are fully aware that drugs do in fact change your chemistry, you need to acknowledge that puberty blockers aren't simply an "off switch" that can be toggled at any moment.
The whole trans lifestyle is a suicide pact with the medical "professionals" that go along with it, and frankly, it's not bigotry to point out that behaviors encouraged by the trans community are consistent with
psychologically unhealthy people. You don't get a waiver from that because you claim your trans. And if you're going to simp for that community, then you can and should at least be honest enough to own up to that.
