Jolly Biscuit is a webcomic known for its surreal and absurd humor. The Jolly Biscuit webcomics have a decent amount of variety, ranging from simple newspaper-like strips containing jokes, multiple part mini-series, pop culture parodies, and even political commentary, such as with Jolly Biscuit's "The End of the F**king World" multi-part comic. The comics are drawn by Canadian artist Andrew Howell, who is better known by his online persona of Mr. Nubly aka The Biscuit Man.

Andew Howell.pngAndrew Howell is the artist behind Jolly Biscuit. He is a self described "Kooky Cannuck" from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Andrew describes himself as being an artist for his entire life, working as a professional artist since 2019. According to his LinkedIn, Andrew attended the University of Calgary from 2013-2018, earning a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. His background in Computer Science has allowed Andrew to develop and manage his website jollybiscuit.com, where he hosts his webcomics. He also has his own company Jolly Biscuit Inc. On his website, Andrew provides an origin for the name Jolly Biscuit:

Andrew.pngThe Biscuit Man.pngHow to Recognize a Nubly.jpgAndrew has a dedicated online persona for his Jolly Biscuit webcomics. This persona is known as The Biscuit Man, a man who wears a paper bag over his head, who is named Johnny B. Nubly. Andrew also says he is called The Macho Delux and Missy Misdemeanor Elliot, although he is commonly referred to as Mr. Nubly or just Nubly. Andrew states that Mr. Nubly is the True & Honest creator behind Jolly Biscuit and does the writing and art for the webcomic. Nubly and Mr. Nubly are also online aliases that Andrew uses on his Jolly Biscuit website and Twitter accounts. Mr. Nubly also appears as a character within several Jolly Biscuit comics.

In addition to publishing the Jolly Biscuit webcomic, Andrew has published three books, Bedslippers in 2014, BEYOND! in 2021, and The Ten Million Year Biscuit in 2022, although he considers BEYOND! to be his first real book, as Bedslippers is merely a collection of previously made Jolly Biscuit comics. The Ten Million Year Biscuit was released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his website:

Andrew has also worked in animation and did storyboards and writing for Pencilmation, a YouTube animated web series:

Andrew also likes to attend comic expos and even has a booth:

Andrew has been creating Jolly Biscuit webcomics since 2012. As he studied Computer Science in university, it seems that Andrew is completely self taught as an artist. His first Jolly Biscuit comic "Urst Comik" was published on December 2, 2012:

The comics have an art style that is similar to old Newgrounds flash animations. Mr. Nubly has been producing Jolly Biscuit webcomics to this day, although his rate of producing comics fluctuates from weekly comics to producing one or two a month while taking small hiatuses. The following are some examples of Mr. Nubly's Jolly Biscuit comics:

Mr. Nubly would also post his Jolly Biscuit comics on the website Funnyjunk under the name "jollyjohnny".

Mr. Nubly would also engage with his readers on Funnyjunk, such as this example where he is arguing in the comments about the honkler/clown world meme:

Mr. Nubly commenting on how he enjoys watching insane politisperging on YouTube:

This may explain what motivated his future "The End of The F**king World" miniseries, as these previous examples from Funnyjunk seem to indicate that Mr. Nubly has always made political cartoons. His comments on believing that people take themselves way too seriously may explain his abstract and ridiculous sense of humor that he injects into his political comics.

Kiwi Farms ooperator @Null would discover Mr. Nubly's comics after browsing a funny picture thread on the Farms. After finding the comics to be so bad yet intriguing, Josh looked into Mr. Nubly to see if he was a real artist and found that he had very few likes on Twitter. Josh would then begin reading and reacting to Mr. Nubly's comics on his livestream Mad at The Internet. In particular, Josh would react to Mr. Nubly's political comic miniseries "The End of the F**king World", which features an absurd and surreal parody of the build up to the 2024 US presidential election (despite Mr. Nubly being Canadian).

Josh would read the first two parts of "The End of the F**king World" on the August 30th, 2024, episode of MATI:

After reading through the comics and going over Nubly's total views on Twitter. Josh would leave a comment on Nubly's Facebook page showing support:

Josh was hoping to give Mr. Nubly a bump similar to how he gave Austin Peterson/Bossmanjack a shout out on his stream.

Covering Mr. Nubly's "The End of the F**king World" series started to become a regular segment on MATI livestreams, especially since the frequency of Jolly Biscuit comics seemed to increase, going from bi-weekly to weekly comics, which Josh believes may be the result of his shout out. Josh would cover Part 3 of the "The End of the F**king World" on Septemeber 10th:

Part 4 of "The End of the F**king World", which was covered on September 20th, 2024's episode of MATI would be notable for a bizarre joke at the end.

The final joke where the old lady says "It's time I told you where all our rubber bands keep disapearing to..." would confuse many readers including Josh as to what it meant, as it was believed to be some obscure reference to something lesbians specifically do with rubber bands.

This joke would be compared to the infamous "You don't have to tell me twice, but during the Stone Age..." joke from Sonichu Issue #2 and "Cow tools" from "The Far Side" which both confused readers:
Sonichu Stone Age.pngCow Tools.png
The comparison to "Cow tools" in particular led to creation of a new meme, "Lesbian tools":

When asked about the joke on Twitter, Mr. Nubly would confirm that it was indeed a joke similar to "Cow tools" where it was just meant to be funny due to how improbable it was:

Part 5 of "The End of the F**king World" is notable for containing a decent parody of Matt Walsh and his film "What is a Woman?":

However, one small joke that caught the attention of many Kiwis is located in the second last panel:
Sneed Joke.png
This Sneed joke may possibly indicate that Mr. Nubly is aware of his new Kiwi Farms audience.

A recurring joke present in all parts of "The End of the F**king World" so far is that all the conservatives have massive erections:

Parts 6 and 7 of "The End of the F**king World" would contain some strange references that @Null believes are insults directed towards him due to him covering Mr. Nubly's comics on his streams, indicating that Mr. Nubly may be aware of Josh and MATI.

Part 6 features a slobbering dog that is seemingly attacked or molested by the Andrew Tate look-alikes:
Killing Slobbermutt 1.png
Part 7 features two references that Josh believes are of him. The first is the shooter has a Ron Paul t-shirt:
Ron Paul.png
The second is another instance of a slobbering dog being harmed. In this instance, the dog is accidentally shot by the man in tactical gear:
Killing Slobbermutt 2.png

On the October 11th, 2024 episode of MATI, Josh would feature the artist Sven Stoffels/@svenstoffels, creator of Butch Killigan, as a special guest and ask him for his opinion and first impressions of Mr. Nubly and his work:

Part 8 of "The End of the F**king World" would feature a joke about BlackRock:

Part 9 would feature a parody of Jordan Peterson as the Joker and a black guy achieving Yakubian enlightenment and becoming white:

The final panel of this comic would feature the audience spontaneously wearing red spandex uniforms. When asked about this on Twitter, Mr. Nubly clarified the red spandex suits were the official Spingle Cat fan club's uniform and the sudden appearance of the suits was the audience entering "Spingle-mode":

Part 10 of "The End of the F**cking World" was notable for featuring the first appearance of Spingle Cat, who had only been mentioned in the background of the previous strips:

Part 10 was also released a week before the 2024 US Presidential Election. As it was assumed the ending of "The End of the F**king World" would depend on the outcome of the US Election, Mr. Nubly was asked about the ending on Twitter about it. Mr. Nubly revealed that he had planned two different endings for the series, one for each possible outcome of the election:
Multiple Endings Tweet.png

Part 11 was the penultimate part of "The End of the F**king World" and was released on November 5th, 2024, a day before the US Presidential Election:

The comic ended on a cliffhanger that was tied to whatever the results of the next day's election would be. On November 6th, 2024, Donald Trump won the election with a resounding victory securing the popular vote, house, senate and all 7 swing states. However, the final part of "The End of the F**king World" was not yet posted, and Nubly's readers were left eagerly waiting for the conclusion.

On November 10th, 2024, after being asked on Twitter if he was alright following the election, Mr. Nubly would reveal that his bank account was hacked, likely by some pajeet scammers, and he was left destitute, although he promised the ending would come eventually:
Nubly Bank Tweet.png
Link (Archive)
@Null speculated that Mr. Nubly may not have had his bank account hacked and instead made this Tweet because he thought Kamala was going to win, only made one ending for "The End of the F**king World", was surprised by Trump's victory, and needed time to make the new ending. This is however only speculation though as Nubly had already promised two endings prior to this.

On December 16th, 2024, Mr. Nubly would finally release Part 12 of "The End of the F**king World", properly concluding the series:

In the description of the Part 12 comic post, Mr. Nubly promised that normal comics would resume eventually:

Spingle Fat.pngSpingle Cat Wide Banner.pngSpingle Fat.png
Spingle Cat is a prominent character in "The End of the F**king World" and can be seen as the primary overarching antagonist. He is a recurring character in a popular show called Spingamaroo which features other men in spandex animal costumes like Spingle Cat. Spingle Cat is seen as very controversial as he was cancelled from Spingamaroo.

The character of Spingle Cat is played by an actor named Fabrio. Fabrio was apparently cancelled and accused of sexual misconduct against women, causing outrage among his diehard fans:
Spingamaroo Cancelled Spingle Cat.png
In a Tweet, it is shown that the sexual misconduct Fabrio was accused of was doing "sexy dances" towards his female co-stars:
Spingle Cat Sneed Tweet.png
Fabrio also apparently converted to Islam, emphasizing that he was a "good Muslim who hates other Muslims", endorsed Donald Trump for president, and explained why women's suffrage was a mistake. This caused his fan base to declare he was "based again":
Fabrio Spingle Cat.png

Despite seemingly just being a character played by a controversial actor, Spingle Cat's fans are more like a cult that worship Spingle Cat as a messianic figure. In his first appearance in Part 10 of the comic, Spingle Cat appears to one of his loyal fans as a bizarre manifestation that tells him the Jews are behind all his problems. His followers wear red spandex suits with holes for their penises, and later tummies, to emulate him. Another interesting detail about Spingle Cat's followers are that none of them are female. Given Spingle Cat's opinions and treatment of women, it's clear why.

Spingle Cat and his followers also have their own language which has been dubbed "Spinglish". The following are some rudimentary translations of Spingle Cat's Spinglish dialogue into regular English:
English to Spinglish.png

The finale of the comic sees Spingle Cat's followers perform a special Spingle ritual that causes a giant red moon with a face to crash down on the Earth and destroy all of civilization. Despite the complete collapse of the world, Spingle Cat's story continued on, although the origin story presented in the finale differs from the background details given in the previous parts of the comic:
Spingle Origins.png
This is likely because these details were lost and Spingle Cat became seen as more of a legendary and mythical figure than a historical one.

Mr. Nubly strikes that fine balance between autistic political sperging, self-awareness, and having enough legitimate talent that he succeeds where many other webcomics in similar genres fail.

I just really hope we don't get a situation like Natty Comics where the author discontinued and disavowed his own comic once he learned that it was mostly being enjoyed by the people he tried to make fun of.

I wanted to potst it another thread, but since KW has a dedicated one now...
I've got an idea who is this lady in glasses, bizzarely stating that she started a "crystal healing practice".
I think it's this lady- https://gemstonetherapyinstitute.org/about/
How I know about her- no, I'm not into "gemstone healing" or "crystal healing" or "cleanign chakras" or any other magic they peddle to fools. I was trying different ASMR videos to help my sleep during flights (I occassionaly fly for business trips and can't fall asleep inside the plane) and her content did work as a sleeping aid.
Here is a video example of how she looked when they were made- it is startlingly similar.

But why her specifically? Is she a well-known rabbit american conservatard? Don't think so.

You really have to try to be THIS bad at punchlines. Even if there's some fun to be extracted from his over-the-top depictions of people he hates, or his deranged obsession with absurdism and American politics, every comic of his completely deflates into a wet fart by the last panel. It feels like by the time he reaches the last panel, he has satiated his psychotic need to ridicule his perceived enemies, draw deranged shit or just cram as many throbbing erections as possible. Then, in a rare case of metaphorical post-nut clarity, he runs out of "creative" stamina to commit to his bit as hard, so he pulls a "lesbian tools" non sequitur and calls it a day. Fascinating stuff, really.
