Null should tell more stories of old Internet lore he was involved in. The beginning part of the gumroad video going over the Wizardchan connection was fascinating.

When this was first happening in 2017/2018 major executives at big entertainment companies were getting fired left right and center. Guys who had been at the company for 20-30+ years. So it's unsurprising that they wanted to save their own ass as much as possible to avoid this from happening.
Because gamedev budgets/devtimes have exploded many of these games were in development for so long we've only just started to see the consequences of these decisions in the last few years. Like Concord was in development for 8 years, the same with Dragon Age Veilguard.
I kind of wanna see it happen because it would immediately cause him to melt down and we'd see a proper lolcow arc form. He's already started melting down due to SKG but if Josh did a person stream it would cause a level of DFE and intense rage that we rarely see with lolcows.

That would some really good content, he really is Yandere Dev in disguise with some nepotism to really sell it.

The nepotism is what really sets him apart. As the fact he comes from a prominent gamedev family gets him a level of street cred that most indie devs don't have. Including Yanderedev. Hearing the testimonials from people that knew him that he was always a deeply insecure person that never overcame living in the shadow of his far more successful father makes the story much more interesting in my opinion.

In video game news that @Null will definitely enjoy, a recent update to the Play Station 5 replaced a majority of game backgrounds on the homescreen with advertisements.
This change is on the heels of another update which added options to disable advertising widgets, which after less than a month, they have now replaced with something much uglier and more invasive.
Here are a few examples
An ad for some Warhammer YouTube channel
An ad for the sequel to the Final Fantasy game which is currently highlighted
An out of season May the 4th ad for EA's game subscription service EA Play
An ad for the Elden Ring DLC
These ads are baked into the background, which you cannot change or customize.
The only way to disable the ads currently is to disconnect your system from the Internet entirely.

This first happened with Xbox back in the 360 era. It had 3 dashboards
Then Don Mattrick got hired as the head of Xbox and changed it again for some reason to a new version nobody liked that forced you to look at ads.
After the storefront recently shut down they removed the ads and you can see how little was left afterwards.

At least they had the decency to remove the ads after it shit down (though likely they could get hit with false advertising if they didn’t) - the only thing more annoying than ads are old outdated worthless to everyone ads, like unskippable DVD previews for a release from 2001.

they also solved a very common complaint when the third dashboard released. Which was they buried the games menu behind a submenu you had to switch to every time you turned the console on. Here they just moved it right to the home screen.

I wouldn't go that far since Josh doesn't have much reach in the Youtube drama sphere and him alone wouldn't be enough to cause a full lolcow arc. Though from what I've seen with Jason the mere fact that someone like Josh would be able to get decent viewership while talking about his "Maldavius Figtree" persona and fake game dev stuff would be enough to piss him off severely and he would definitely be seething behind the scenes or in his hugbox discord server.

I'm kind of hoping if Josh did a person stream it would encourage the usual suspects (Turkey Tom mainly) to look at it and go "it's free real estate".

The difference between Mald and stuff that Turkey Tom normally steals from this site is that Mald has a massive fanbase and is respected in the twitch community. No Youtuber will talk about Mald until a smaller one has tested the waters and gotten views from it.
