I wonder what the thought process behind using the same face every single video is. If there even is a thought process. Like is it really too much effort to pull another constipated face infront of a greenscreen? Or is the lack of variety intentional, maybe to show that the entire channel too is as lazy and repurposed?
I think he literally just wanted to replace the old Jim Sterling Thumbnail with "real me" Jim. Jim always had a single image of himself he used for the Jimquisition, if anything he has a few more now. But the old ones were perfect for his videos and the light grey-scale complimented the red-and-back colors of the Jimquisition.
Maybe he's trying to have a consistent "branding" or something with his thumbnails, but I still don't understand why he's holding that fucking spaceship or whatever that plastic lump of shit is in most of them. At least they're not as bad as this thumbnail from a while ago
I don't know why he would think that's branding though. Even the dogshit example there has his literal branding already in the image. Idk I just like taking the piss out of his thumbnails because it's about as entertaining as his videos and don't require me to waste 10 minutes of my life watching him ramble
Yeah I think branding was the wrong word, but like they follow a set template now. I think saying they're more uniform would've made more sense
This is a long shot but did you have that one autistic kid in your school, the type of guy that would do the same things as the popular kids because they thought that it made people popular instead of the other way around, they just didn't quite understand the social reasons behind why it's cool. There was one guy at my school who saw the popular guys being kinda cunts to the pretty women and it just being banter, he did the same and they all ended up hating him. Or that one parkour kid. Just the type of autistic person who sees people do other things and recreates them expecting the same results not realising that those results are partly due to the person that originally did the action and if you are not that person you will not get the same result.
The fact that the sub count is still decreasing like this is absurd. People still keep finding Jim’s videos in their sub boxes and they’re so shit that they have to go through and click unsubscribe. It’s hilarious.
It’s just laziness. Nothing more, nothing less. Jim’s videos have been barely edited rants since at least 899k. You’re lucky he even bothered to remove the backgrounds from the images.

Phoenix isn't fat from what I've seen, she is built like a 30-something single mom, which I believe is also an accurate description of her. She does have more metal in her face than the average cenobite but when you look and act like Jim it's not exactly a buyer's market I guess.
Honestly in the grand scheme of things I've seen she is far from the ugliest just kinda looks like a lesbian librarian with a hint of the monsters inc receptionist
Jim could certainly have done worse, especially for a green card marriage, but she looks like one of those people who shooshes you in the middle of a story because it's time for her to tell it 'properly'.
