I would like it on record that I specifically did not guess the Madonna Inn because I am sick to death of people moving here from other states and then acting like it’s some hidden gem nobody knows. It took me a minute to figure out what you meant here, but are you saying they didn't even leave Ventura County? Because lol if true, and also thank G-Ds that she wasn't in my tiny lil community. We'd have to power-wash the whole town.

The "rural" thing made me think San Luis Obispo county because it IS mostly rural, or at least is classified as such by beaurocrats who haven't visited in person since the 60s. And between the little towns, there are vast stretches of open, rolling hills that are undeveloped and extremely picturesque. But I do imagine if she was in San Luis Obispo she'd stick to all the extremely touristy shit and the locals wouldn't have to deal with her, so that's ok.

But yeah, if she stayed in Ventura and tried to make it sound like anything but a stay-catiom, that's pretty hilarious..
